Maybe I'm wrongly optimistic that if the family is involved that its more likely the girls are alive and hidden somewhere. Has all of the family been accounted for? Maybe someone snuck the girls for an extended camping trip and some of the family does know? Too much wishful thinking? I really just want to follow one case where the child comes home.

Early on sleuthers had found 2 J Cooks in Evansdale, one of whom lives on a street that runs directly to the area the bikes were found.

One of them is apparently Jeremy Cook, brother of Heather and Misty, who has just OD'd. He has suffered a drug overdose along with his ex girlfriend known only as Kari (this was in msm but since disappeared) at her residence in Waterloo, which is where the Waterloo address is from.

So the overdose was in Waterloo, but he is believed to live in Evansdale, in the road directly leading to the end of the lake the bikes were found.

... but it doesn't get us any closer to figuring out what happened to the girls?

Could he be involved, even indirectly, with the abduction? Is the meth connection related to the disappearance? Was the drug overdose meth?

We can't discuss it, to do so would be against TOS. At the moment it's just a guy and a girl and an overdose.

When it was published, I always check more than one msm. When someone asked me a question, I went back to check the msm I'd been on, and instead of 3 paragraphs there were only 2.

Thank you. That is what I missed, I wrongly ASSumed that people were gettin JW and JC confused, it was I who was confused. Thank you thank you thank you.

Heck maybe they are even room mates. :dunno: you may not even be wrong. Hell, any of it could be wrong.

It's a small town. Could well be an address for more than one member of the family, or other friends.

I think Carrie is the spelling you may be looking for. It's much more common, especially around Vine Street.

That's actually a different lake. They seem to have a rash of bodies in lakes in Iowa. The unidentified(?) man we're interested in was found in Little Wall Lake.

With the high temps we've been having in Iowa, drownings have been more frequent this summer than usual.

I think it may be because it's so hot that even people who don't usually go in the water are trying it to escape the heat.

It was written as Kari in the reports on it that have been published so far.

At first I touught MSM might be witholding her name until her family could be contacted, but now I'm wondering if there could be some other reason. She is an adult, isn't she?

Oh no.. I'm feeling so sick right now. Nothing you posted and I know it's all speculation (and speculation in the worst parts of my mind!) but just.. oh no.

Me too. Wait until the rest of the story gets reported.

Tomorrow might be a good day.

I know you can't say much but can you say, good as in "found" or good as in "found safe"?

Here is a map with the route from House to Meyers Lake. Goes right near the Grandmother's home.
Maybe significant, maybe not. Could be either...I really wish I knew more.
AAAAAroutehousetolake.jpg

The picture didn't come out very clearly but the route goes very close to the house on Brovan Rd. and close to the building with the video camera showing the girls. Just wondering if it is significant. I have some hunches but nothing worth noting. IMOO

My opinion is that...how could it be two accidental overdoses? That's just me, though. But it gets me to wondering if more info will follow. And I so hope these girls are brought home now.

I don't have any information on the situation under discussion except what has been released to the msm.

I do know there have been occasional problems in the midwest with groups of people overdosing on drugs that were actually stronger than the users had anticipated. They were together, sometimes at a party, took the drugs willingly but did not intend to overdose on them, so it's an accidental overdose.

Yes. I know. It doesn't matter much either way. The person is more or less off limits for sleuthing right now. If that changes, you'll probably see it as Carrie.

Great....my source has been chopped to ribbons.

:rocker:

I noticed. I went back to look again and some very important things have been omitted. Either the first info was incorrect or some crucial info was taken out to avoid giving away too much info to the general population. Not saying which way I am leaning but I am a bit off-center... :moo:

The KCRG article has been heavily edited, but the KWWL story in still intact (so far). Maybe KCRG feared a lawsuit and the attorneys for KWWL are sound asleep?
