I think the GM thought they'd show up in a few minutes just like Lyric did a few days before.

Yes, but, she had already been looking for them for an hour. That's why I'm curious how long they waited the first time Lyric and the other cousin had gone missing before anyone called LE?

Were all his drug arrests meth related? Blows me away theres that much snitchin to do. Im thinking about all the little meth lab busts on our local tv. Never really thought about it being big business - guess i thought everyone made their own :floorlaugh:

Three of the current charges he faces are for drugs and the fourth is for domestic violence. He hurt he wife, including breaking her finger and choking her by putting his knee on her neck. IIRC

TG may have been off a few minutes. He had to ride to the station, use the bathroom, then call his daughter. I think he could have seen the bikes at around 12:10, then ridden to the station, used the bathroom, and called his daughter. 15 minutes is not that far off, of a reasonable estimate, imo.

I think that timeline answers a lot of questions.

I believe he called her by mobile and the call was obviously timed.

He made the call at 12.27 and mentioned to her what he saw, then he spoke to LE again later in person on the trail and told them.

Is LE absolutely sure it was Lyric and Elizabeth on that video camera? How can they tell for sure with such poor quality?

I don't think they are absolutely sure because Abben stressed several times in the pressers that the video quality was poor. In fact, he acted like he had only seen it on t.v.! I know other investigators had seen it but he referred to seeing it on t.v. In my mind, I've thought it was a sure thing but I guess we really don't know that for sure.

I know. I meant he was off in his estimate about how much earlier he saw the bikes. He said about 12:20. I am saying if he saw them at 12:10, or 12:12, then the girls may have ridden them back to town and then returned to the lake to meet the perps.

apparently he based his estimate upon how long it took to ride to the gas station, use the bathroom and make a call. I think it may have taken longer than he thought.

Just some random thoughts....

Misty started working at Casey's 5 days prior - so Sunday 7/8.
Lyric came home LATE 4 days prior - so Monday 7/9.

Misty & Dan said she was in Greenbrier at the time with Tammy's daughter. Tammy lives in Greenbrier, right? So was this during the day - on Misty's 2nd day of work and Lyric did not come over to Heather's that day? Was going to Heather's a new arrangement since she came home late and they wanted to keep a better eye on her?

Misty got out of the halfway house or wherever she served her last sentence on 5/30 or 5/31.

She said they had been swimming almost everyday for the past 5 weeks - so all of June and up to the time she started work (7/8).

Do we know which day Lyric wanted to run away because she was upset about her Dad being upset with her about her chores?

BBM oh no to a river? Could the girls of drowned and be found at river bank????
So many kids play on those, is it large enough for a child to slip off and drift in???

No, it has definately been reported early on that there was a grill of some type that prevented anything from going through the pipe. You may consider that rumor because I don't have a link for it and can't remember where I saw it but it was definately reported in MSM.

If your child is missing and you refuse to take a polygraph, in my book that is refusing to cooperate. JMO

For me, that's where I draw the line. My kid goes missing, I submit to one of LE's investigative tools. Because it's my kid. I have no problem with parents, particularly with these histories, securing attorneys. Hell, I tell my kids: You get picked up: you ask for an attorney...they can call me.

My kid goes missing: I don't care who thinks what of me.

Heaven, help us.
I simultaneously thought it was a sure thing as well, while questioning how they could be sure. Why can't this be simple? Just bring. them. back.:please:

The community just came together and threw flowers into the lake and wrote notes to the girls. My heart breaks.

Which direction was TG riding? Maybe he rode from the bike path to the Casey's on River Forest to use the restroom and make his call. Maybe he bought something with cash, got caught on camera, and then went back to the lake - ok I am just kidding - but really nothing makes sense with any of this timeline.

Abben said that in press conference more than once. At the time I remember doubting him - but that is just because I am suspicious of everything.

Two on bicycles in the area that Grandmother said she last saw them at about the same time that Grandmother said she last saw them, and confirmed that LE and FBI believe it was the girls. Additionally, gentleman who turned in "second video" (auction house) stated that he saw the tape, and no other individuals on bicycles pass through the area. On an actual video, but grainy.

IMO, doubt may be CSI effect.

eta: I mean 'off' on his estimate, not on the 12:27 time.

I know 12:27 is correct. But maybe it took him longer than he thought to get to the station, use the bathroom and make the call.

The gentleman who saw the girls the day they disappeared,
Was he in that area for another 10, 20 minutes.
Could he see the entire lae from where how stood?
Could he hear a boat start?
Hear The girls scream or yell or even laugh?

Okay, someone tell me, why is the timeline a big deal?

(ABC 6 News) -- A sex offender wanted in Colorado and Missouri has been questioned by investigators in Iowa..........was arrested Friday at the Floyd County Fairgrounds in Charles City. Authorities say he was wanted in those other states for sex crimes against children. Investigators determined he was not in the area when the girls were abducted from Evansdale.
