Thank you. This post makes me feel better...so frustrated and frightened for these kids and their family.

I hear you.

I had to actually quit for a while yesterday because I was feeling so mad and sick.

It is now 16 days...hopes are fading.

:please:

Post was deleted but you can see it in Google when you search his number. But the thing is he was in Evansdale the time the girls went missing.

Ok maybe i am barking up the wrong tree but i do think LE needs to know about him. JMO
In another ad on a different site he is advertising a puppy for sale.

Looking for more specifics but according to my info, this guy lives in Oxford Junction, Iowa.

I just felt inclined to ask my 9 year old daughter what she felt happened to these girls, after only giving her the basic information (they'd been out riding bikes, bikes were found at a lake, the girls are not IN the lake).

Sometimes she gives me a pure, innocent child's point of view in cases like these. Other times she gives me her gut instinct, which often surprises me because it will often end up being close to the truth in the end.

So, for what it's worth (no more but perhaps no less than everyone else's opinion here, I suppose) here is what she said:

"Well, it's pretty easy to, like, tell someone something, like, that maybe I'm a friend of your parents and you should come with me or something. But... I think that, like, maybe someone who was a relative came and said that I'm gonna take you to do something really fun but we have to hurry and go now so you have to leave your bike and so they went with them but then they took them somewhere and... like..."

so I said "did something bad instead?"

and she nodded.

I almost wonder if this will end up being a case of "out of the mouths of babes"...

Your innocent child has seen through all the bs and paddleboats and gone straight to exactly what happened.

There is also a pic associated with that search.

Knows bikes trails? Knows Waterloo? Check that river going south.

This? Uggh

*snip of horrid pic*

My gut instinct/creepy sensor is going overtime on this one. I don't even know what to say. You guys don't know me, but most people have a "me" in their family tree. The crazy great aunt who just says random stuff that freaks you out because it's somehow true sooner or later. Well, this crazy lady's sayin.. something isn't right with the whole CL personals/puppy dude/creepy pic thing!

Didn't we hear that LE was doing raids and searches all around Waterloo recently?

Sure hope LE is onto this.

Just trying to rationalize in my own mind the bikes and the timeline.

If the girls did not ride straight to the lake and the abduction did not take place there, then why dump the bikes there? *Say they were grabbed off the street into a vehicle and the bikes were taken too. Someone would have to take the chance of being in the area longer and potentially being seen grabbing them and then leaving the bikes and making a getaway. The only way i see this scenario is if the bikes were left as a message, otherwise why not leave the area and leave the bikes somewhere they may not be found. **

With the tight timeline we have, it is more likely they rode to the lake, dropped the bikes and were lured into a secluded spot and grabbed. * The question in my mind is then simply, was someone random waiting there for a crime of opportunity, or were they followed and grabbed as retaliation.*

I don't understand LE in some things. If they have this vehicle on cam (not sure they do) why not show the public? Someone would know the vehicle at least you would think. JMO

Was ANY vehicle captured on the surv video going in either direction
AFTER the girls passed?

Certainly LE checked that out?!:waitasec: :moo:

Jun 10, 2012 – ... I also love to fish any ladies want to fxxx while fishing by the water 319 four eight six 7815 absolutly no males im looking for woman not guys ...

I have posted my concerns about a possible connection with a 'fisherman.' Kids are fascinated when they pass by someone fishing. It would be an easy way to start up a conversation.

And the perp can say " Hey girls, you want to fish? I have some poles in my truck in the pking lot...."

[Maybe it is just my kids, but if we hiked past fishermen they always wanted to stop and look to see what they caught etc...]

Yes, Elizabeth does have a cat and a puppy and apparently loves animals:

"The Collinses affectionately call their home “the zoo” because of all the kids and pets. And the zoo often revolved around Elizabeth, they said. <snip> Tia the cat and Gus, Elizabeth’s baby Bull Mastiff, often wait in Elizabeth’s room for her to return, Heather said."

I respectfully disagree, given the fact I just looked up more pics of the guy (JLG) on the Iowa sexual offender website, and the shape of the face (basic bone structure) doesn't match. I'm not sure if I can post the link to the pics or not though.

ACtually I think I can post the link to the website -

http://www.iowasexoffender.com/registrant/10898/?county=807&type=advanced

There's pics there that I don't think look at all like the CL guy, personally.

(All IMHO, if I haven't made it clear yet, LOL)

I concur, don't think its the same guy.

What's really creepy about what your daughter said, is that, you would think she would say a stranger came and enticed them ... but she said a relative. A future as a detective perhaps??
