I've read about many shootings at funerals. Usually gang related. If your looking for a particular victim you'll know where to find them.

Tragically, it's become common in many cities way too often now. So many shootings are occurring at funerals now.

Even though this precious little boy passed away from cancer which is absolutley heartbreaking itself, but to know so many young children.. even younger than 8 years old have been murdered in cold blood in the past couple of months is equally heart shattering.

If one reads on down at the bottom of the linked page it seems this area has many shootings.

Some where they drive by, and shoot from their vehicle which is probably gang violence. Gang violence takes so many lives every single year.

I live in Davenport, and in addition to the Breasia Terrell story which is being covered in another thread, there are a couple areas of town where gang violence is a huge problem. I personally do not consider myself at risk, because like most other criminals, the "victims" are almost always people they know.

But shooting someone at his child's visitation is a new level of evil!

I just heard on the news that the guy who was shot had 17 children at the age of 26! Good heavens.

At first, I thought he was one of 17 children, because I couldn't wrap my head around this.
