'Jade Colvin was 15 years old when she disappeared in March 2017. A teen with an unstable home life, she bounced around different places and foster homes before she was last seen at a farm near Decorah in northeast Iowa.
Her case went cold until investigators picked it back up in May 2022. Evidence led detectives to the farm, where they discovered photos on an old cell phone, eventually leading to the arrest of James Bachmurski as the suspect for Colvin's murder.
The case will soon be featured on the CBS "48 Hours" program.'
'The former Winneshiek County man was sentenced to 50 years in prison for killing Colvin. Bachmurski, 67, must serve at least 35 years before he is eligible for parole'
