Nielsen-Buckley is a white woman with blonde hair and hazel eyes. She is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds.

She may be driving a blue 2007 Dodge Caravan with Iowa license plate CRK 051.

The missing woman’s wife, Christine Nielsen-Buckley, has pleaded for help finding her on social media posts. In those posts, she wrote that Jennifer Nielsen-Buckley likes to drive on back roads at night when she cannot sleep.

Christine Nielsen-Buckley wrote that her wife hasn’t been seen since Saturday, although the Iowa Missing Person Information Clearinghouse operated by the state Department of Public Safety lists her reported missing on Tuesday.

DAYTON — A Dayton woman reported missing last week has been found safe.

Dayton Police Chief Nick Dunbar said the family of Jennifer Nielsen-Buckley contacted his office on Wednesday to say she is OK.

Dunbar was told Nielsen-Buckley contacted the family.

She is in a hospital out of state.

He said the reason she was hospitalized is not life-threatening, he said.

Not much more information was available, but Dunbar said the family and his department were grateful for the public’s help in searching and for the tips received.
