Maybe she had watched the video of her bday party with her older admirer/friend at his home, like he claims. Maybe she went to her apartment after that, had a gentleman friend over, and perhaps was being watched by this older male friend/admirer. He could've been in parking lot waiting on her to exit on her way to work, and grabbed her out of jealousy from being with another man.

Here's an astonishing statement, from page 18 of the book on this case - Dead Air by Beth Bednar: ..."One of Jodi's neighbors reported that it was not uncommon to see Vansice sitting in his car in the parking lot outside Jodi's apartment building in the middle of the night"....

Was this something Jodi was aware of? If he was a guest in her apt that is one thing, sitting outside in a car is different. It's creepy and not something you do to a friend.

That is creepy. He was watching from his car to make sure no men were coming to visit her. Very scary.

... "Ridge said there are complex connections that links Honken to Huisentruit"....

I wonder who those connections might be? Pruin? Vansice? Or, if that is Honken is those 2 pics we've all seen here, socializing directly with Jodi, perhaps the connection is not so complex, but direct... It seems strange to me that no one following this case, that I am aware of, is able to confirm whether that is Honken in the pics.

Dustin Lee Honken is back on the calendar to be executed on 17 Jul 2020. Last chance to deal if he had anything to do with Jodi's disappearance.

Guess that countdown comes to an end for now.

I had never, until I saw that linked findjodi.com piece, seen Jodi's relationship with Billy Pruin characterized as 'very close'. I find it hard to believe that Mr. Pruin, engaged to be married, drove to Brakke Implement (still there today), closed on the purchase of an expensive combine that one would use for decades, drove home in the combine, leaving his truck at Brakke to retrieve later, apparently entered the home in a hurry (evidenced by the keys still in the doorknob keyhole) (weird that he and Jodi both may have been ambushed while using a key), perhaps rushing to get his handgun, was initially deemed to have committed suicide.
