Police: Missing Man Last Seen Boarding Bus in Des Moines
Police: Missing man has 'dementia related symptoms,' could be anywhere along bus route from Des Moines to MilwaukeeHe is from Marshalltown. IMO-it sounds like he could of got on a bus in Marshalltown that stopped in Ames and then he got on a different bus in Des Moines. Ames is mentioned in one of the articles. Greyhound has a bus stop in Marshalltown and Ames. Looks like another bus line in Des Moines as well. I've never traveled by bus so I don't know if the one in Des Moines also involves Greyhoud.

This article has a pic of Mr. Glover. Article also says he was stopping in Chicago before going on to Milwaukee.

Police ask for help to find missing man traveling through Des Moines

According to police, Glover was last seen in the Des Moines area, and was supposed to be traveling to Chicago and then on to Milwaukee via bus. Police said Glover boarded the bus at the station on Tuesday but did not arrive in Milwaukee.

Oh gosh, poor man. He’s young to be diagnosed with dementia. I hope someone recognizes his struggles and helps him.

How affected by Covid is bus travel?
Does he have the wherewithal to wear a mask? Hand sanitizer?

There have not been any updates at all about him since yesterday morning as far as I can tell. No current article on the any of the local Iowa stations at all.

Last seen Wednesday boarding bus in Des Moines, am assuming he is from Marshalltown since PD has listed him as missing. Did he change buses in Des Moines ? Did driver see him get off the bus at Des Moines.?
The last family member or friend to see him was in Marshalltown ? Am guessing he had luggage with him ... Where are his bags ? No phone mentioned guessing he didn't have one with him.
Praying for Marvin, wish there was more info out about him. It's chaotic and very fast paced at bus terminals. Lots of riff raff hanging out in those depots downtown area. Would be easy to miss the connecting bus if distracted or he wasn't aware of departure time.
Hope his family is out looking and hanging flyers.
Bus travel is much more dangerous now very worried for him. Must be hell ...pay phones few and far between...so many towns he could have departed the bus ...

Missing post states boarded bus in Des Moines the bus lines servicing Marshalltown is Trailways. Very distressing !

Nothing new anywhere I have looked today, anyone else have any luck ? Hope his family is out pounding the pavement. I would make sure I was a BIG PIA !!
I see quad cities missing is following maybe they have contacts in LE that will keep an eye out for him.

I have still not found any local news updates on Marvin since the 1st day I posted about him. I just checked the Marshalltown Police Department Facebook page and they have also not had an update since June 4. Last comments IIRC were 3 days ago and asking if he had been found or if there was at least an update. The MPD did not respond to any of the posts.

Thanks for trying to update Nothing new I saw either . I saw the Quad cities missing post and hoped that would help bring media updates. Guess not ... Keeping Marvin in my prayers, looking for updates. I'm wondering if he might try churches for assistance ? Or shelters .... Any ideas welcome. There's a lot of ground to cover from Des Moines to Chicago !!
Hate to see anyone traveling alone on bus any more. It's scary . Thanks to all on this thread for Marvin !
