Police said they believe the body could be that of 32-year-old Michelle Grommet, of Mason City, who was reported missing March 22. Investigators said they do not suspect foul play in her death.

But many unanswered questions in the case remain. Officials aren’t revealing any details about a possible cause of death.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday, so police believe they will able to confirm the identify and preliminary cause of death. But a full toxicology report could take eight weeks.
