I think just the opposite. Anybody she knew has already been investigated. It's about a 99% chance it is somebody she didn't know.

Or they have a POI that we don't know about yet that is close to her but don't have enough substantive evidence to go with them. There are a few things that strike me with the random abductor thing.

Dogs being in the basement suggests that MT placed them there. There wouldn't be much reason for her to do that if she was going to remain at the home and I highly doubt an abductor would have her put dogs in the basement. He would just take her and get the hell out. Abductor would have no idea that dogs stay in the basement when MT isn't there either.

MT having her cell is another issue to me. If random abductor took her in middle of night, why would they let her take her phone with her? That's a huge tracking beacon.

Lastly, it does not appear home has been investigated as a crime scene and several news reports indicated that family has been allowed to go back there. If there was a break in and abductor, I have to believe there'd be more signs of a struggle of some sort. It doesn't make sense to me that a random person could break in and/or get MT under those circumstances.

After listening to the press conference, it seems to me that the parents are hanging on for dear life. Dad is “fighting” for his daughter as a coping mechanism as well as the others in the family. It’s got to be such a helpless state of being; I’m glad they are finding ways to keep hopeful and proactive.
I’m still leaning towards stalker/abduction theory from someone who knows some of her habits.

Agree with all of this 100 percent. More and more I am thinking Mollie was abducted early in the am walking to her mom's house to get the car. Am thinking she had a spare set of glasses or contacts so that is a red herring. Hoping we will get more information soon.
