WHAT WE KNOW​

1. Mollie’s jogging clothing is missing – pink sports bra, black shorts & running shoes
2. Mollie’s devices are missing – cell phone, armband, FitBit and white earbuds
3. She has about 3 different routes and likes to mix them up
4. The dogs were in the basement
5. DJ said the door was probably unlocked
6. She typically picks up the car at her mom's house before dark
7. She went for a run about 7:30
8. She usually runs for 45 minutes
9. LE reconstructed her run, relying on Fitbit data, cell phone pings and eyewitnesses
10. A digital signal led police to the Guernsey farm area
11. Video footage was collected from various businesses, including Casey’s & D&M
12. Mollie's mom was asked by FBI if Mollie was "in a home" at 9:45
13. She may have done homework (time unknown & unconfirmed)
14. Snapchat appeared to be indoors & taken that day, viewed at 10PM
15. Mollie was a creature of habit
16. DJ sent her a text in the morning and she did not respond
17. JT sent her at text approx. 7:30 am asking if she needed the car – no response
18. There were no vehicles in the driveway (as there usually would be)
19. Her driver's license, passport and debit card were at the house
20. Usual evening routine: run, shower/eat or eat/shower, homework, bed
21. No signs of a struggle or forced entry

Reported Sightings

• NH, 7:30 pm - W Pershing Dr
• RT, time unknown - W. Des Moines – walking east, would have to go N or S
• DR, 8 pm - East 2nd Street - jogging west toward Casey’s

DC, time unknown, West St - told by LE (not an actual sighting) that MT jogged past his house and made it home

Those of us who run aren't after logic haha... I used to trail run in an area fuklnof gators. 8 bodies were actually found YARDS from where I ran...

True, but, typically, those with time management skills and a list of tasks to accomplish are not going to run in circles for 45 minutes and then run or walk to get the car at sunset, all on an empty stomach when there's homework to do, dogs to look after, and prep for the next day of work.

One would expect that Mollie would combine jogging with collecting the car. It makes the most sense in terms of time management and ensuring that she's ready for the next day.

I would, then again I only sleep 2hrs a night haha. There were times when I was training for a 191mile relay I would run 3x a day for 6+ miles at a time. What was I thinking ...

Pence was in Iowa to promote tax cuts, he became aware of the case and decided to meet with the family. This, and the FBI presence in this case, is IMO, not indicative in any way, of some broader connection to something much darker, like a serial killer and potential connection to other cases. The FBI is there because local LE needed their manpower and technical expertise. Pence was already there and chimed in. I take these things at face value, and do not find them odd.

Then he drops her off at 5:30, she takes care of house and dogs, leaves for a run with the intention of picking up the car for the next day and same scenario with brother?

I hope I do not offend anyone here, because that is not my intention what so ever......just reading and following this story since it's development.....reading online news, etc......someone in earlier posts here.....stated that something else is going on....something bigger than we know anything about.

I just think it is awfully strange....that a small town girl (no matter how popular and sweet) living a normal life.....bf, family, college, jogging, church, working with children.....involved in many normal activities.....her disappearance causes the VP of the USA to make a visit with family.....not that the family is below receiving acknowledgement, help, etc.....I just take it as weird or strange. It makes me suspicious in other words.

I wouldn't read too much in to that VPOTUS visit, except maybe this:

Ot but I am sure Pence was in Iowa anyway...not a special trip to meet Mollie’s dad. Iowa is a red state as far as I know and the praying bit would appeal...

I have my doubts as to Mollie being more than 20 or so miles out from town, if she is deceased. There must be lots of isolated turnoffs in any direction. I really wish LE would ask that entire region to search their lands carefully. I think she is out there. After such a bold (presumably) act of abduction, the perp may have used up a lot of his “rush” and might fear being caught with her in his vehicle if he drove too far. Also her chances of escaping or attracting attention would be higher the longer she was alive in his vehicle. Jmo
