People! The article linked that has "new info" was updated at 10:38PM EST. So, a couple of hours ago. WATCH the video instead of repeating what the brother said. NO ONE in LE has confirmed, or admitted, that they told the brother any such thing. I have no idea why he is saying such a thing. The video explicitly says that the FITBIT was pinging cell towers on her run, they DO have a timeline, and LE does NOT believe she made it home! This was just 2 hours ago folks, by a reliable news source, who stated she was told that by LE.

I would think LE is none to happy with her brother saying what he is saying, particularly since he is the ONLY one saying it. I do wonder why he would say such a thing tho. It distracts from what LE is trying to get out. (except for the people that keep repeating it here.)

I have my own theories at this point but I never, ever thought she was kidnapped during the night, or the next morning from the home.

A poster speculated the case of Jake Wilson is tied to Mollie's disappearance. I don't believe they are connected in any way.

Since we know DJ's brother (and probably his fiance) was in Ames working, and the university is also there, is it possible that a mutual acquaintance of MT and one of them ran into each other and the subject of MT dog-sitting came up? If it happened to be someone who either had a thing for MT or had a grudge against her, it may have seemed like the ideal time to pay her a visit.

Ok so let’s pretend that is a raging river. It’s still not a reason to disregard the possibility that he may have been abducted.

There were no heavy rains leading up to his disappearance. In fact basically all forms of precipitation were snow. Unusually cold spring here in Iowa.

I don't believe the two cases are connected in any way.

It’s possible. Gone without a trace. Just like Mollie, just like the cousins. I’m not sure how you could conclude that there is no way that they are connected.

Some of us are simply looking at the similarities between the two cases. While you seem to be trying to advance a narrative, such as calling a creek, a raging river. BTW the creek was searched extensively, and searchers cleared every part of it, even the deepest part.

Gosh, I agree about the brother here. Perhaps he feels the pressure of each day without his sister. It would be really hard for me, I think, to deal with the weight of that emptiness. It's natural that he might possibly be distracted and confused. Frustration can stymie even the best intentions. I pray for him and all of Mollie's family!

Different university. Ames has Iowa State. Mollie is at a student at U of Ioa in iowa city.
