If LE is saying she did not make it home, where could she have been taken?

It would make her dog sitting become irrelevant if she was taken while jogging, If she did not make it home, what is the story on the goodnight snap chat?

More importantly the latest news of her on her computer doing homework late in the evening

I don't believe the two cases are connected in any way.

And you’re probably right, but what if they are? It’s definitely not something that can be ruled out. Finding mollie may be the key to getting justice for those 2 little girls.

It’s a long shot, but whoever did that to them is still out there.

You're probably right, it's been a while since I've seen the school mentioned.

I thought so but now I don't know if I have just read that because of the college. Would you drive 50 miles for a job or get a motel? See it seems like that may be the wrong City! Ugh
There are 2 different colleges you may be mixing up - U of Iowa in Iowa City which is ~50 miles from Brooklyn. Iowa State U in Ames which is ~80 miles from Brooklyn. Mollie went to U of I in Iowa City. I don't know of any connection to ISU in this case. But early on there were reports of a construction job in Ames.

I fount this in Thread 5--no one seems to have challenged the info.

It’s possible. Gone without a trace. Just like Mollie, just like the cousins. I’m not sure how you could conclude that there is no way that they are connected.

LE has SAID they don't believe the two cases are connected.

Richard Rahn, a special agent in charge with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, said there was no evidence to suggest the missing person cases were connected.

As searches continue for Mollie Tibbetts and Jake Wilson, vigil planned for missing Iowans

I simply posted the link to AMAP in response to the question about a map. If its violation of the rules, I will delete it.
How do we delete stuff? I can't figure it out.

Exactly. Whether it was "late" in the evening or not seems inconsistently reported, but they all say evening, which seems to imply it was post-run.

I am confused. Isn’t the latest news that she did not make it home and there is no “late” re the homework?

I keep hitting refresh to think there may be some new news. Sometimes I think I’m on the wrong thread since there’s so much other discussions about other things. And sometimes I think by accident I’m on the first thread because people are still talking about the same stuff.
Praying for something new, praying Molly comes home

Select the edit button under your post. Then delete the info or use the backspace delete key. Then type something like " deleted post". Then select "save changes".

The only thing we know about the snapchat was that it was OPENED at 10PM. LE has made an obvious point of NOT saying when it was sent.

The 'goodnight Snapchat' may well, from anything we've officially heard, have simply been a mid-evening Snapchat, opened at 10:00 pm by her boyfriend, who promptly fell asleep after a hard day's work.

I'm a trace skeptical of "late in the evening." Too many contradictions around it. Right now, here's something that I'd believe:

Dropped off at bf's home at 5:30.

Took care of dogs, and settled down to do homework, taking occasional social media breaks.

On one of those Snapchatted to boyfriend.

On another, texted to mom, checked that she bought ingredients for Friday after-work dessert. Was casually invited over to dinner, and equally casually accepted.

Finished homework, or got it under control. Put dogs in basement. Set out on a run that would take her over to her mother's place in time for a late dinner.

Vanished.

Yes. That is the latest news. Jake Tibbett is the only one that has said the "homework" thing. LE has not confirmed it, nor have they said it publicly.

I think the key words there are: “there was no evidence....”
Look, I am going by what LE has said. A few threads ago the discussion was totally derailed by all the blather about there being a dramatic increase in missing Iowans, which, if you would read all of the link I posted, LE has said is not true. Our local media had to run a separate story re-assuring people it isn't true.

LE are not releasing all of the information that they know. I am certain that they have a fair bit more information than what is known in the public domain and they will be narrowing down to a conclusion in the next few days.
