If she did not make it home after jogging, doesn’t it seem strange that she would send an early goodnight Snap?
Agreed, that's the part I don't understand.
It was NOT a goodnight Snap - DJ can't remember what it said, just knows he opened it at 10pm

Look, I am going by what LE has said. A few threads ago the discussion was totally derailed by all the blather about there being a dramatic increase in missing Iowans, which, if you would read all of the link I posted, LE has said is not true. Our local media had to run a separate story re-assuring people it isn't true.
I can imagine that after a nice run and on a hot day, one wouldn't be excited to eat brats. Seems like heavy fall/winter food to me. Although I know people grill them at barbecues.
Here? They've been searching water ways for Mollie?
Do to a lot of cases where the police pick up the perp really quick and arrest him as soon as they are suspicious of the crime often ends up with a hinderance in the prosecution because they pick up the perp so fast. I would be willing to bet they already know everything but they are building the airtight evidence case on the person to have the suspect in an airtight case to make it a quick prosecution.
From your lips to God's ears! I disagree and think they have nothing but I surely like your thoughts better than mine!
IMO, cases are often solved by a tip....but also by luck. Sometimes it takes a person finding a body - a hunter or farmer in the field, for example. Once the body is found, sometimes there is evidence to find the perp.Community may hold clue to find missing Iowa student, father says
Speaking in an interview with “Good Morning America,” Rob Tibbetts said he believes the public may hold the key to finding his daughter, Mollie Tibbetts, who disappeared on July 18 after going out for an evening jog.
“What we need is for people to tell their friends and neighbors that if they saw anything that seemed even remotely out of the ordinary to call the authorities and they will run that down,” Tibbetts said. “The authorities have told us again and again and again that all the similar cases like this are always solved by some tip.”
Well, that does not sound promising.Community may hold clue to find missing Iowa student, father says

Who better to pick you up for work than a co-worker? Who would you readily let in the door, into a car with to go to work, or take you to your mom's to grab your shirt? Who may already have your shirt in their car from a previous ride and brought it over? Who also knows where you are, and who is or is not there....
Not necessarily. LE doesn't share everything with the family. I've followed cases where the family was left completely in the dark until the investigation reached a conclusion so I wouldn't read too much into that statement.Well, that does not sound promising.
And both can't be right. If I remember correctly, LE did not release the time when Mollie was doing homework because it was pertinent to the investigation. I hope we get some clarification on this soon because it's the whole case. I tend to believe LE, however, considering their search of the pig farm.New evidence in search for missing Iowa college student
Mollie's aunt speaks in the video.
Police say Mollie Tibbetts vanished 12 days ago while on her usual run. Her family believes there is now evidence indicating she finished her jog.
Many people commute 50+ miles a day. I commute 80 each way. I don't necessarily see that as unusual. For me the answer would depend on two things. One, is the employer paying for it? Two, what time does work begin the next day?
I’m guessing sun-up is a time around 6:15. They might start at 6:00 to beat the heat meaning a 5:00 a more departure from home. If the boss was paying I’d stay in a hotel.
I'm wondering if LE is intentionally leaking confusing/contradictory statements so the suspect if they have one, isn't aware how close they are?
