I expressed anger after the last press conference, but not because they weren’t sharing things about the investigation (though they did share their map and give a bit more of a timeframe - 5pm to 10pm). I agree with you that police shouldn’t share info they have that may be detrimental to their case, no matter how nosy I am. My anger was directed at them taking almost a month to share request tips from the public and give an outline of what they should look for in people they may know that could be involved. I’m guessing the general public doesn’t know the guilty “signs” (whether physical or emotional) like we here at Websleuths do and I was (and still am honestly) upset that they wouldn’t share that kind of knowledge with the public. Who know, it may not have helped if they shared the signs the same day, but IMO it was worth a try at least.

Do you live in Brooklyn, Iowa? If not I can assure you that the police have no interest what "guilty signs" that someone on a true crime website claims to have observed. They wanted real live witnesses who saw real live things.

I don't know about all of that, but from what I can see from the live reports and cameras zooming up on the area there are several cars on a small ridge/hill and people walking around closer to the intersection of 460 and 220 than further east on 460.

As I said, I'm not a pilot. Perhaps due to wind patterns, etc. that is the area that anyone trying to get a vantage on the scene would need to hover?

It just struck me as odd how far it was from the scenes we've been seeing all day.

LE could also be questioning a suspect in a location other than the jail. I am not implying that they are, just speculating - and hoping. MOO.

The suspect could also be in a jail in a different county. There may very well not even be a suspect as they really pushed anonymous tips, anything just to find her.

Curious if anyone gets the creeped out feeling that perp is still reading? I don't and haven't in a few days since the profile I suspected as being perp has been on time out. Might get interesting.

I think the digital footprint led them here OR the perp led them here. It's way in the middle of nowhere, however, most are recalling it being close to the pig farmer but pig farmer became known based on that digital footprint so it's highly possible they were doing grid searches still with that last ping being the centeral focus.

Bringing this over from the last thread. The center of the no-fly zone is located at "Latitude: 41º37'54"N, Longitude: 92º18'19"W"

When this is put into Google it shows almost all the way to the end of 460th, near the intersection of Powesheik-Iowa Road.

As a non-pilot, is this standard to center the no-fly away from the center of the zone of interest? It just seems odd to me that we are all speculating on the properties nearest Route 21 & 460th, but the 2-mile no-fly zone is set up East of that area.

I'm guessing they are also trying to take into account road locations...where someone could fly in a drone to eavesdrop. If you centered it on a road that was to the left of the truer center of the sight, then you'd have a bigger buffer.

Can anyone here plot that exact LONG/LATITUDE on a high resolution google earth map?

My gut feeling is there was s tip of some sort-why else would they be searching in the dark. Any reports of suicides or attempted suicides in the area where a note was left indicating involvement and body location
