Maybe a search of CR's 'premises' was already done by LE working on the case (local/State/FBI) right away when CR was questioned and while he was leading them to her body and was arrested, it hasn't been published. There were one or more other locations that were crime scenes (where she was abducted, where she was found), and they would also be looking to see if there was any evidence where he lived related to Mollie's abduction and murder.

The announcement on MSM today that the Omaha division of the FBI mobilized to search the grounds where CR lived seems like it could be that the autopsy results that came out today on cause of death (COD) triggered a new and separate, federal response due to possibly other murders with same COD FBI has been investigating, and they're looking for evidence on the property that could tie CR to other cases. JMO of course.

seemed to be more to the Omaha fbi mobilized today but the article disappeared as I was trying to read it so I have no idea what it was about but got far enough to see it wasn't just one place. maybe something else will come out about it. might have been a misreport, I was reading and it just switched to article not found. I don't know name of what I was reading but seemed to be local report from Omaha.

That is pretty much word for word what you see after every **** gets arrested for murder. The mom or relative comes out and says that.

He was a good boy, he didn't do nothing wrong. Until that murder thing.

I wish someone would post the google map again. It was the long stretch of road leading out of Brooklyn. 395? I can’t recall exactly. Hope others weigh in. I guess I don’t even believe where he’s saying he grabbed her from.

Is this the map your looking for? Google Maps

So if she was running 5-6 miles' an hour, it would have taken her about 10 minutes to run from Boundary to the 1900 block of 385. She was last seen by the funeral home. I wonder if he really started harassing her at boundary and Mills or just followed her starting there.
I honestly think she saw him around town and knew him from his girlfriend. She probably didn't see any reason to be afraid of him or intimidated by him.

I'd say the bar for "good father" in that family must be mighty low.

Another thought.. what about the fake ID that was allegedly from out of state?

So this guy was carrying a knife? It's bad enough he killed her but to do it painfully and shockingly to her this way. Horrible.
LE hasn't identified the murder weapon (see mod post on page 1 of this thread). LE announced the autopsy determined cause of death was "Multiple sharp force injuries". Agree it's beyond horrible and that he was carrying anything that was sharp and he used to kill her is beyond reprehensible (wish there was a better word that is exponentially worse), whatever it was.

I also think she was stabbed at the corn fields before she was covered up, as opposed to while she was running. Otherwise his trunk and car would be covered in blood.
In other words, you believe that

In other words, you believe that Mollie was still alive while she was in Rivera's trunk? That makes sense in light of the evidence.

Excellent Point!

I suspect there is a difference between self-preservation lying (illegally entering the U.S. with intent to find work to provide for his family) and maintaining an ongoing 'pattern' of lying to cover for an underlying evil.

Acquaintances of CR and of those he hangs and lives with claims to have overheard or discussed with them their experiences in Mexico, which was described as being very negative, read: horrendous.

I believe CR was looking for a way to become a legitimate citizen or at least be perceived as being a 'man' (very important in his culture). What better way than to attempt to win the favor of a particularly popular American woman? It is possible he never intended to hurt/murder MT.

Of course, worst case, CR was simply looking for an outlet to serve a primal urge and unfortunately, MT became his target.
Sadly I believe it's worst case here.

I'm having a hard time with the forum but an article right after the PC that announced CR's arrest said DCI and FBI agents went to the house CR lived to interview everyone and the other people freaked out thinking it was ICE.

They may be going back now to try to identify anything specific they may have missed that may have been the murder weapon. We just know it was sharp force trauma. The medical examiner may have been able to narrow down the murder weapon even further - was it a knife, box cutter, screwdriver, etc. If it was something like a screwdriver, LE may not have picked up every screwdriver in the house during the first search (because why would they?). I still have faith in LE here.

Your right, I completely forgot about that!

Do we know that it wasn't searched right away?
I believe it was and something may have been found.

In the Sierah Joughin murder, her killer took her to his farm where he had a secret torture chamber in the barn. This case has reminded me of that horrific case and that killer had tried to kidnap a girl years before and had served time in prison.

...and let's not forget, the system let him down....

Yes. I think he punched her in the head and knocked her out. Took her to the corn fields whilst still alive and then killed her. Still unsure if sexual assault occurred, but it wouldnt surprise me if it had.

I'm leaning toward one scenario over the other.

I’m going to go with primal urge

We know about how old Gforce is now.
Did you sing along with it on the radio walking down the street with your boom box?
