I agree the trunk is very possible. If MT was stabbed at the point of abduction, how much blood would be in the trunk by the time they got to the cornfield. Would LE have been able to use that against CR during the interrogation?

My guess is there is very little, if any blood in CR's truck and he was just saying it in case some DNA evidence was found in his trunk.

Yes, I know LE can read gang tattoos. But I am suggesting WS have to a look on FB to try to answer the question of if CR is a gang member or drug dealer or whatever.

Hi all. Good morning!

I’m thinking, like many of you, about what type of weapon could have caused the wounds. Leatherman type multi-tool? Trying to think of what he’d have onhand. Curious about other thoughts out there.

I’m not very experienced with this way of thinking, but from too much crime-show watching, I thought multiple wounds like this could indicate great anger/passion/emotion in the crime. I wonder if he had been obsessed for a while.

Another thing going through my mind is his claim that this isn’t the first time he has “blacked out.” I’m curious about previous occurrences of this. He would need to substantiate this in court, I assume.

Thoughts out there about these things?

Random thoughts and JMOs...

- If she still had an earbud in, she probably was unconscious in the trunk as it would seem likely she would immediately yanked them from her ears when things got serious.

- Maybe the phone's last ping was close to WCs farm and then he inadvertently drove slightly out of range. This is maybe why they thought she was nearby but weren't able to quite find her.

- From what we know, my guess is he dumped everything related to her with her, probably turned off the phone or broke it, probably didn't notice the fitbit on her and booked it out of there. It just doesn't seem he took the time to be very careful, ya know?

Also, as an aside, late late last night I realized I had forgotten to roll the trash down the driveway. Normally not a big deal, I'd go out without a second thought but nope, last night I tucked my phone in my bra, waited next to the house door while the garage door went up, made sure the coast was clear AND made the dog come with me. Takes about 10 seconds to roll the trash down. Felt a little bit silly but you literally never know what could happen. Should the unthinkable ever happen, I will do my best to leave clues for my WS buddies.

Morbid to ask, but what state does a body have to be in to conclude multiple sharp force injuries? Can they easily come to that conclusion a month out after decomposition? Or easier to tell maybe a few days or a week out?
