I’m in FL now and know no one. Everyone is a stranger!!!Good point. I grew up in Southern California, you barely knew anyone! It’s possibly that she didn’t “freak out” as much as if it had been an actual stranger.

If all still referring to photo from DM puplished day after arrest, that car is an IMPALA and not the chevy in question. I'm sure the Malibu was seized long before we knew CR's name. Did LE release photos? Not likely.. feeling like a red t-shirt....IMO The photo of the Black Malibu in this article is not the same Black Malibu photographed at the Farmhouse the FBI raided.
Here is a photo of the Black Malibu at the Farmhouse and the news article. This Malibu has a spoiler on the back and it looks like a hatchback. But I am not a Auto expert by any means.

The article said the worker didn't have to pay rent and it is a benefit. Benefits are tax deducted as expenses for the employer. I wouldn't use the term "migrant" to describe CR because he had lived there for four years.
I just meant his rather implausible tale of how he encountered her and his 'oops, forgot the rest' story. If you confess it, they can use it against you. "Anything you say can and will be held against you in a court of law..."
Which brings me back to my unpopular opinion that this guy is not intelligent. If you're going to confess something that isn't true, you may want to try something that doesn't constitute first degree murder.
There is no new law that I'm aware of that will impact this case.New laws, or at lease new policies in place that may take precedence over State. ICE, Inc.
That would change hundreds of years of established law. I doubt that happening.
I always lock my car, and I think it's a good idea to glance in the back seat area before getting in as well.Wow, I must be very careless.I have never done either of those things after getting in the car. I even leave my keys lying right on the seat when I park. If someone steals it good luck to them, they won't get 50 miles without it overheating.
he may have chased her down on the street after she rejected him, though.
It's a different pic.@Alethea said: ↑
Is the front right part of the car smashed? It looks like an abrupt dent above the lights.

I believe he drove next to her in town, trying to talk to her, she starts to run on 385 and tells him to get lost. He becomes angry, speeds away on 385. Goes past the curve on 385, parks his car, hides in corn field and once she runs around the curve and sees his car, he jumps out of the corn field and grabs her. They perhaps struggle, she hits her head and passes out. He puts her in the trunk and takes off. Here’s a follow up to my last possible jogging route ...this route that doubles back on 385. A little shorter at 6.35 miles.

It is.

True, but I can believe it to be more likely if he indeed was following her and riding along side her in the car as she jogged. Curious Cricket scenario makes much more sense to me than him getting out of the car, jogging behind her, catching up to her and then jogging along with her. He could have described it that way and just substituted himself for the car.It sounded like they were relaying the story he gave them. I don't think that means they find anything that he said credible. Other than her body was where he said it was. Obviously if he was telling tales of memory blocks, that conveniently began about the time that he abducted her, he could be telling partial truths, re-arranged truths, or absolute lies.
English is my mother tongue but I think even I should have help with understanding all of the "legalese" in a courtroom situation!!!Having an interpreter for something as complicated as a court proceeding and being able to communicate in conversational English are two very different things.
Wow, you sure misunderstood my posts. I certainly don't consider substandard housing to be "awesome" by any measure.Churches provide housing for pastors too but that is far different than having people bunking up in rooms. It’s totally legal and legit. All I am saying is it’s not a perk in this case. Just look at the pics in the news. Nothing screams free housing is awesome in those pics. Just saying and has nothing to do with Mollie so I won’t discuss further.
I think people are questioning some of the information given by LE from the last presser. I.E. when did they get hold of the cctv footage? They say it was obtained from a neighbour; why wasn't it obtained sooner?, etc.
I was just speaking in general to the conversation. I didn’t assume you thought differently.Wow, you sure misunderstood my posts. I certainly don't consider substandard housing to be "awesome" by any measure.
I'd like to know the dates of any warrants in CR's name. Like search warrants for his cell phone records.
US Supreme Court rules police generally need a warrant to track cell phones — a big win for privacy activists
