Good point. I grew up in Southern California, you barely knew anyone! It’s possibly that she didn’t “freak out” as much as if it had been an actual stranger.
I’m in FL now and know no one. Everyone is a stranger!!!

His face may have been familiar, he got his GF pregnant while they were in HS, she could have seen him around school or games since the GF was a cheerleader

Unless that was what made the vehicle unique from the video.

IMO The photo of the Black Malibu in this article is not the same Black Malibu photographed at the Farmhouse the FBI raided.

Here is a photo of the Black Malibu at the Farmhouse and the news article. This Malibu has a spoiler on the back and it looks like a hatchback. But I am not a Auto expert by any means.

If all still referring to photo from DM puplished day after arrest, that car is an IMPALA and not the chevy in question. I'm sure the Malibu was seized long before we knew CR's name. Did LE release photos? Not likely.. feeling like a red t-shirt....

The article said the worker didn't have to pay rent and it is a benefit. Benefits are tax deducted as expenses for the employer. I wouldn't use the term "migrant" to describe CR because he had lived there for four years.

They must write it off as an actual straight business deduction.

If you confess it, they can use it against you. "Anything you say can and will be held against you in a court of law..."

Which brings me back to my unpopular opinion that this guy is not intelligent. If you're going to confess something that isn't true, you may want to try something that doesn't constitute first degree murder.
I just meant his rather implausible tale of how he encountered her and his 'oops, forgot the rest' story.

New laws, or at lease new policies in place that may take precedence over State. ICE, Inc.
There is no new law that I'm aware of that will impact this case.

Wow, I must be very careless.I have never done either of those things after getting in the car. I even leave my keys lying right on the seat when I park. If someone steals it good luck to them, they won't get 50 miles without it overheating.
I always lock my car, and I think it's a good idea to glance in the back seat area before getting in as well.

he may have chased her down on the street after she rejected him, though.

I posted my theory earlier, which I'll bump. My post that you quoted was just replying to the poster who twisted my words to imply that I said Mollie rejected CR because of his race, when I was talking about the documented socioeconomic segregation in neighborhoods. My comment had nothing to do with Mollie and I wouldn't dare to put words in a murder victim's mouth either way.

It's a different pic.

Here’s a follow up to my last possible jogging route ...this route that doubles back on 385. A little shorter at 6.35 miles.
I believe he drove next to her in town, trying to talk to her, she starts to run on 385 and tells him to get lost. He becomes angry, speeds away on 385. Goes past the curve on 385, parks his car, hides in corn field and once she runs around the curve and sees his car, he jumps out of the corn field and grabs her. They perhaps struggle, she hits her head and passes out. He puts her in the trunk and takes off.

No it's not. In fact, the case law is leaning the other way. DOJ is pressing to try, convict, and lock up foreign criminals here whenever possible because deporting them results in criminals getting a slap on the wrist in their home countries and attempting to come back into the United States. DOJ guidance is pushing that even for terrorism suspects, and there are a number of pending cases in SDNY. It has been unpopular with the city government in NYC because so much extra security is required downtown when terrorism cases are tried at 500 Pearl Street.

I've been talking about this photo of LE taking away a black car. http://oskynews.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/DSC3560sm.jpg

It sounded like they were relaying the story he gave them. I don't think that means they find anything that he said credible. Other than her body was where he said it was. Obviously if he was telling tales of memory blocks, that conveniently began about the time that he abducted her, he could be telling partial truths, re-arranged truths, or absolute lies.
True, but I can believe it to be more likely if he indeed was following her and riding along side her in the car as she jogged. Curious Cricket scenario makes much more sense to me than him getting out of the car, jogging behind her, catching up to her and then jogging along with her. He could have described it that way and just substituted himself for the car.

Having an interpreter for something as complicated as a court proceeding and being able to communicate in conversational English are two very different things.
English is my mother tongue but I think even I should have help with understanding all of the "legalese" in a courtroom situation!!!

Churches provide housing for pastors too but that is far different than having people bunking up in rooms. It’s totally legal and legit. All I am saying is it’s not a perk in this case. Just look at the pics in the news. Nothing screams free housing is awesome in those pics. Just saying and has nothing to do with Mollie so I won’t discuss further.
Wow, you sure misunderstood my posts. I certainly don't consider substandard housing to be "awesome" by any measure.

I think people are questioning some of the information given by LE from the last presser. I.E. when did they get hold of the cctv footage? They say it was obtained from a neighbour; why wasn't it obtained sooner?, etc.

In the video with LE interview he said they had countless tapes to go through which took hours upon hours to review.

I was just speaking in general to the conversation. I didn’t assume you thought differently.

I'd like to know the dates of any warrants in CR's name. Like search warrants for his cell phone records.

US Supreme Court rules police generally need a warrant to track cell phones — a big win for privacy activists

I’m certain cell records, Facebook, blog activity other SM were among the very first warrants issued. They also requested banking activity credit reports in all names, employment documents (emergency contacts, etc),

Some records take time. But hiss cell will enable LE to determine where and when he was the evening MT disappeared.
