Thank you!

So this business about him having a grade 7 education, being a drop out and so on is perhaps nothing more than spin. It's quite possible that he was enrolled in school in grade 10, he had an opportunity to immigrate to Iowa, he did, and then for some reason he did not attend school.

I think that's a point in his life where things started to go wrong. Instead of his normal social group, education, and life foundations, he was isolated, and in a country where he did not even have language education.

That’s the part that puzzles me, his relatives could have put in in school here if he was 16, at least to socialize him and maybe go on to college

I think he was sent off to work and send money back

I’m beginning to think that he and his GF could have possibly still lived together, his co-worked said she left the house the morning he was arrested.

Interesting. I was involved in a lawsuit a few years ago, and the final bill was several pages long, they wouldn't even take the case until they had a $10,000 retainer. And that was nothing compared to this situation.

Fortunately, I prevailed and the other party was responsible for fees.

Attorney costs can be exorbitant, especially if they will be paying for consultants, court documents...

Just surprised he is not using a court appointed attorney.
It's a lot of green to hire an attorney. If it really is his family paying for it, I have to wonder how they came about the money. Maybe his family grew more than corn.

Yeah, that's not the article I saw, but it stated they haven't spoken in three years. How could that be? The child doesn't look much older than three, which would mean they haven't spoken since she was an infant. As much as I would like to not speak to my daughter's father, there is no way around it. I wish I could find the article that I thought said the relationship lasted a year, this one only states the years. It could mean the end of one year and beginning of another.

What also weird is his co-worked said she left their house the morning he was arrested, I think they were still living together

How could he spend time at the park and visit his child without the mom there?

All 3 attorneys have stated his family hired them

Maybe they gave them a break?

They get a lot of publicity to take the case

That might explain his lack of social skills.

I don't know. Few attorneys are altruistic, I doubt these folks are doing anything for free.

OT...We keep reading how overall crime is down, but I have my doubts as far as crimes against children (often due to new drugs not known in years past) and sexual crimes against women, who very often shy away from the ordeal that results from reporting. Maybe actual number of murders has decreased but there are so many terrible abuse and assault cases these days, i.e road rage, online crimes, gun crimes, things that did not exist in the past that they must make up for any so-called decrease, imo. I think it is all a matter of classification. Jmo

Or just better reporting. With the growth of the Internet and 24/7 info feed, it turns out Alvin Toffler was right and we are suffering "Future Shock". A lot of stuff happened in the past, you just did not hear as much about it! If you watch the news it will only depress you. Stick to the movie '3 Amigos' and kitten videos. Lip balm?

Yeah, I remember that too. It made it sound like she moved in with her mom right after his arrest. Maybe she wasn't telling the truth about not speaking to him for three years to distance herself from him? But what does " the house" refer to? Her house? Or the one Rivera lived in?

one of my friend's broke up with her ex-husband, but they were still together enough to have a 2nd kid. they may have been officially broken up but still together.

Bravo, bravo! I think he ran her over or bumped her off the bike, to create the head injury, then got her in the car and took her somewhere. I don't think he said anything to her...he was fixated on one thing, and one thing only.

When did a bike come in to this narrative? Can you provide a MSM link?

Just kidding, but please do suprise me!

I hope these questions will not be redundant:
1. How far did CR live from the house Mollie was staying in?
2. How far was the park that CR purportedly took his daughter to from Mollies home or the house where she was housesitting?
3. I am assuming because I have no way of knowing w/o asking that I read she had 3 routes that she took. Did she do this every day, in the am and pm, or every other day or exactly how frequent?
4. Is there any way that we can find out where this young man worked previously and for who?
5. I am assuming this farmhouse just had a large amount of young men and maybe older men who just lived there, hung out etc. Were there any women living there, and I know that he lived in an adjacent trailer. Why was that, why did he have separate quarters?

That is what happens when you don't change that stupid lock...Gloria Gaynor was right!

I’m pretty sure it was his attorney who claimed that
Right, and that was the same time he said he was here legally... so, false information? This also says he lived in a brown trailer. Who lives in the white house with the paint chipping all over?

The house is in IM’s name

  • Cristhian Rivera was living in a 30ft trailer on a secluded Iowa farm less than four miles from where he allegedly abducted Mollie Tibbetts
  • The 24-year-old accused killer was living there with a group of migrants who worked for Yarrabee Farms
  • Public records also link Rivera's girlfriend and mother of his child, Iris Monarrez to the property

Public records also link Rivera's girlfriend Iris Monarrez to the $100,000 house which sits on 39 acres of farmland and is a six-minute drive from the spot along 385th Avenue where Rivera allegedly dragged Mollie into his car.

I definitely avoid the news, especially the local news. It's all bad all the time where I live, and the national news seems to be on a loop. cute, cuddly animals is the way to go, but why watch them when you can go to the pet store and pet them, too. I've started enjoying just watching the zoo animals play. Normally, they don't let me pet animals there, but I went to a different zoo last weekend and they let me pet a Wallaby. It's great since my cats died. I can enjoy other people's animals without having the pleasure of cleaning up after them.
I do agree that people were just as wicked before, only now we're more aware of it.

She normally ran before dusk, according to Dalton, I think, but I'm not sure about the playground. I saw it in Sharon Needles video but couldn't tell if it was where she would run or not. But from what I have seen in the other footage of her last run, its not near the playground. She may have passed it on other runs. I think she did run just about everyday. About the houses, I'm not sure why the living arrangements were the way they were, and why he was in the trailer. Maybe he was anti- social...... also, I'm not sure how far his house was from Mollies, but a poster said the other day it was 2 miles. I was surprised because I had thought it was further so maybe someone can clarify.
