Good grief. Driving without a license IS a crime in Iowa and it is not charged in civil court. The fact that CR was driving without a license most certainly can be brought up in his criminal proceeding without him being charged with the actual offense.
It definitely will be brought up; it's material to case; against CR.

If MT was in the trunk bleeding and transported to a cornfield I think the car would be used in trial as evidence

Exact reason it’s in sheriffs custody at the moment.

IMO, it’s only related to him because he posted it to his FB, why would someone want that image for all to see unless it’s for bragging rights or acting like some hotshot.

I don’t think they are his per se.

Ok following up to your post, I’m going to go down the rabbit hole with this post. I live in an area with gangs, i.e., MS-13, etc. the gangs have many specific ways to show their affiliation—haircuts, shirt colors, and social media pictures. In fact, many schools ban specific colors because it can start turf wars. What if posting the picture is a signal of sorts, that they are open to overtures or association, maybe not necessarily in a gang, but they are part of a group, maybe first serious crime committed? jMO, IMO

I do. Anyone who works on a farm, or in construction, has an easy explanation for scratches, cuts, bruises and limps.

I'm sure that Mollie put up a good fight until she was hit in the head.

Unless she was disabled before she could put up a fight. I certainly hope she was able to fight back and hurt him.

Sure at the time it happened possibly and could be his excuse to family and friends

But when LE questions workers, after a completed ME report, they may ask what they saw the month MT was missing

Did you see hand wounds

Did you see scratch marks

Did you see a black eye

Was he limping

Absolutely right, for evidence at trial with the hindsight of CR's confession. But, as there has been much discussion about why didn't anyone come forward before the body was found to incriminate CR, my statement went to that point. CR flew under everybody's radar, till his confession to LE told the world what he is. He is a coral snake that everyone thought was a Mexican Corn Snake. Coral snakes don't bite humans often, but when they do it is a deadly bite.

Lol. Very familiar with coral snakes. Red to yellow, kill a fellow. Red to black is a friend of jack. People that live in Florida are very familiar with this saying! In Reference on how to tell harmless king snakes from deadly coral snakes

KPM posted earlier; that 'Mollie might of put up hell of a fight'; who knows she might of been getting the better of him; that could be when he used a 'sharp object multiple times'; there isn't that much difference in height and Mollie was really physically fit (doing cross country).

LE would seize a vehicle if they think there is DNA evidence of Mollie in it. I doubt CR was dumb enough to leave the murder weapon in the car. JMO

I can’t upload picture if the Malibu on the tow truck in sheriffs custody. Sorry

Figured it out.

Right, he may have been able to fool his coworkers or have some lame excuse

The ME report will hopefully answer some questions

And any info on what he did those 5 weeks, did he possibly hid from family and the public to hide any possible wounds?

IMO, human scratch marks down the sides of a face or on arms really looks different that if a branch did it

There could have been bite marks, any number of wounds on him, if she had the opportunity to fight back

Exactly! Not saying that’s what’s happening here, but social media has been known to have been used this way before.

Yeah, but Traffic Court violations are small potatoes compared to the big show of a Homocide trial in Criminal Court. To pile on these trivial charges onto a murder charge could be seen as prejudicial, and give grounds for an appeal.

However, the car and CR's use of it, will be a major element of the trial, just not the charges related to operation of a motor vehicle.

Time will tell...

Perhaps, but Rivera has admitted that when he arrived at the body location, Mollie was in the trunk with a bleeding head wound. Wouldn't that suggest that at the time of abduction, Mollie was hit hard in the head, and after they arrived at the body location, she was stabbed?

Will be very interesting to see what LE collected from his house or trailer

That FB pic does look like a bragging badge of honor, IMO
he was definitely displaying his collection - I've done that with my old license plates and on my bed, too.

I don't see how a driver's license, or lack thereof, supports the argument of first degree murder.

The Malibu was seized because it was used in the "commission of a crime", and the other vehicle was most likely seized because the suspect had access to that vehicle.

I'm from South Louisiana, same deal. Though in real life coral snakes don't really want to bite anyone, some people have to work at it.

I think it's more likely that his coworkers didn't think of him as a possible murderer, rather than that they deliberately shielded someone they thought was a murderer.

Remember how LE took several weeks to tell the general public to be aware of this sort of thing--cuts and bruises, car wash, changes in behavior, etc.

So--I don't know how work on a dairy farm is scheduled--but one thing is certain, it's not a Monday to Friday job. I suspect that days tend to blur together, and after four weeks it'd be really hard to remember when your coworker had scratched hands, and when he was such a nice guy and got the car washed.

Correct. HUNDREDS OF COWS HAVE TO BE MILKED NOT ONCE BUT TWICE A DAY. EARLY MORNING AND EVENING.
