I think he very well could have worked the very field for Yarabee, where he placed Mollies body.

Two things, if anyone knows the exact address her remains were found PM me.

I can make out all but two digits of the Malibu plate. If anyone knows it please pm me as well.

A thousand thank you s

Charlie

Is the Yarrabee Farm both dairy and corn?

Some kind of diminished capacity defense then. Maybe.

In my opinion jury selection is critical in cases like this. If the defense gets a certain jury this may work. JMO
IMO, coming to USA was a choice on his part, working was a choice, and not being educated further was a choice. He could have enrolled in high school in USA (up to 21 yrs of age) for free. This is not a defense for him for a crime.

I looked and it seems you don't have to be a member of FB to see his hometown screen. If you google "Cristhian Bahena Rivera, Guerrero, Mexico facebook", his is the first to pop up. What you can see is the public page, and his hometown is on there. See if that works.

Thanks, yes I can see a little. Is one able to determine the creation date of this FB page?

And can anyone tell, is that FB the same one as this one that’s mentioned?

It is strictly my opinion, and my opinion only, but I do not believe that, even if there is a change of venue, that any jury picked in a heartland state like Iowa will let this guy skate on some BS defense that his attorneys conjure up. Florida may be another story. JMO
I hope you're right.

I'm not sure this is a very reliable method of determining CR's arrival to the US, but his FB posts (public) start in May 2012. In November 2012 he's showing off his new buzz in front of a blue shower curtain and white walls. He is in front of that same shower curtain and white walls in a picture in August 2013, after his announcement about meeting IM. So maybe this puts him here at least in 2012?

That helps! If his father is telling the truth, and he left Mexico at age 16 which is consistent with starting or completing (?) grade 10 in Preparatoria 35.

If he was 16 years old in Iowa in 2012, then he was born in 1996 or earlier

Maybe his father is lying about how old he was when he left Mexico.

If he enrolled in Preparatoria 35 at age 16 in 2009, then he is older. He would be born in 1993, and be 25 years old today.

If he arrived in 2011, then he was 18 years old and really too old to attend a regular high school without standing out as a non-English speaking adult illegal immigrant.

Is his daughter an anchor baby, a misguided belief that if his daughter is born in Iowa he stands a better chance of legal immigration?

I’m not finding any MSM link to anyone saying he was 16 when he arrived but I vaguely recall it might’ve been said by his first attorney. Or the uncle?

On the other hand, sometimes media reports get retracted but we just go on thinking if we read it somewhere that it must be true.

I’m beginning to question if we really know anything at all about CR!

Mexican man charged in Iowa slaying used fake name
from article
Rivera’s Facebook page described him as being from Guayabillo, a community of less than 500 people in the state of Guerrero. It’s about a three-hour drive from the resort city of Acapulco

If taken literally, it almost sounds like Rivera made contact with Mollie in Brooklyn, perhaps at the Boundary/Middle Str. location. Then he pursued her in his car as she ran along 385 Ave.

"Rivera admitted to making contact with a female running in Brooklyn and that he pursued her in his vehicle in an area east of Brooklyn, Poweshiek County, Iowa. Defendant Rivera stated he parked the vehicle, got out and was running behind her and along side of her. "

If you find the article that you linked upthread about the interview with the father, I think that is where I read that his father said that the left at the age of 16.

That's it! Thank you for finding that. It's about 100 miles, which probably takes 3 hours on Mexico roads.

This is exactly what I was looking at this morning. I think he possibly spoke to her while still in city limits. IMO, she didn't know he was still following her in his car or she might not have chosen to run down 385th after all.

I think they do have corn....And it may be the largest portion of the farm?

Don't some farms move cows into corn fields after harvest so they can eat the residual corn off the ground? Langs own a LOT of property near CR's house, so I'm not sure they would need to lease other grounds to do this. Not sure about this at all, though.

I have no idea but they have corn, dairy, soybeans, oat, wheat and barley subsidies, whatever that means, lol

I don't see corn as a crop production for the Yarrabee farm. Dairy farms typically have wheat, or some other silage crop that the cows eat. Pigs eat corn. Don't dairy cows eat better than pigs?

You're right, received a corn subsidy until 2006, so they must be feeding the corn to the cows, or they had a large company that grew corn until 2006.

If someone has the address or location she was found I can look up if the farm owns the land

I did notice this report from DM as well. It’s closer to 4 than 7.
