College sophomore Mollie Tibbetts still missing after two weeks of searching

NBC News has previously reported that authorities have cleared Dalton as a suspect in Mollie’s case. “We love Dalton. Dalton is fantastic,” Mollie’s father Rob Tibbetts told Dateline. “I told him the other day, as soon as she gets back, I’m going to push her to make him my son.”

Mollie’s brother, Jake Tibbetts, a rising senior at the University of Iowa, told Dateline he also has “never had a problem” with Dalton.

“In a small town like this, everyone knows everyone,” Jake told Dateline. “I’ve always liked [Dalton].”
