I am glad he has the chance to clean the mess up from defense

Hello everyone. I've been following this case like a hawk here & everywhere since the day Mollie went missing, and finally made an account & logged in to say thank you all for saying everything I've been thinking during the trial, especially yesterday & today. I pray the jury is smart enough to laugh at the ridiculous Sweater Ninjas...
Welcome. Glad you joined.

If we used others to do interview through translator, flip side would be "well why didn't you use the native speaker?" Brown says. @KCCINews #bahenariveratrial

He wasn't so worn down that he couldn't lead them to Mollie Tibbetts. They gave him breaks, Brown says. Like 9 of them. They are asking him hard questions, which I would hope officers would do. @KCCINews #bahenariveratrial

"Dalton Jack was in Dubuque, OK?" People put him there. If he's off at 7, how's he gonna get back? @KCCINews #bahenariveratrial

The finger prints could be from the prior owner

One thing I'd like to clear up is that the CBR residence is close to I-80, & the property is owned by the dairy farm but nowhere near adjacent to the actual farm where he worked. It had a trailer & a ramshackle old white farm house, & a few workers lived there.

"Remember Mr. Jack didnt want to be here. He didnt even want to be here to make sure that the love of his life got justice."

Defense claims that he was losing control of Mollie, "she was going to fly." He was angry and he had a history of fighting.
12:02 PM · May 27, 2021·Twitter Web App

They've presented no receipts, no tangible proof of Dalton's whereabouts, the defense says.

12:01 remark:

1. Hey Mr. Defense man I thought this wasn't about justice for Mollie. Contradicting yourself?

2. He didn't want to be there, because he did not want to be in the same room with Rivera the killer! Stop twisting his words.

Good he went there

There is simply no reason for DJ to kill Mollie. And certainly not in such a wierd manner.

This! I feel like they actually proved he had no reason to kill her. He cheated and the girl said he offered to leave Mollie for her.. nowhere did anyone say she needed to be out of the picture, she need to be gone. he would make money on her death or get any other type of benefit from her being gone. No reason at all for it. So they had issues and he made mistakes. That is 99% of all couples.. where is his motive beyond that? Oh wait because he is racist.. so he is racist and that means he wants to kill his girlfriend so he can pin it on an undocumented worker he doesn't even know?

Brown says Dalton Jack was in Dubuque. What was he going to do? Take CBR's car, someone he doesn't know, and teleport back to Dubuque? he asks.

"All these things Mr. Frese brings up have to matter. He's poking holes, punching at our case." Says other suspects don't fit.

"There was a motive here. A sexual one." Diagram of how body was positioned, with legs apart and shorts/underwear missing, bra around her neck. "The defendant says he left her with her clothes on. That is clearly not true."

I have to say I was almost slightly nervous that defense was wearing away at jurors, but I think this rebuttal prosecution closing is going great.

Defense finally calling CB the rapist that he is- good! Because I think this is the ONE THING he most wants his family to believe he didn’t do.

  • #1,113
Yes, glad Brown is bringing up her clothes off, etc, sexually motivated. Then said why would DJ have done that!!

CBR looking angry during this imo.

He was losing the jury. Sure doesn't help their client

"Guess who does not have a sexual motive? Dalton Jack or anyone else the defense has raised here."

"Look at the cornstalks. They're not disturbed. [...] His testimony can't be true because of the evidence near Mollie."

They have not charged CBR with any kind of sexual assault and we havent really talked about that in this case. Her body was too decomposed for evidence to be collected.

Why consider a sexual motive? It is another circumstance that excludes Dalton Jack and also excludes two masked men, Brown says.
12:32 PM · May 27, 2021·Twitter Web App

Instead this is consistent with the defendant's statement that he found Mollie Hot or Attractive, Brown says.

Bringing up that this was a sexually motivated crime, sexual assault. DJ had no reason to do that.

Praying for justice for Molly.
This is what it's all about. The mockery that has been on display is so outlandish and painful I'm sure for the family. They have dished so many low blows that just didn't have to be thrown. I will be glad when this is over so they can at least have peace of mind that this man can't do this again. She was such a bright light in this world and so much good is happening in her name. I've seen they have billboards to help find other missing people up. I'll have to look for links.

Oh thank goodness! He points out the absurdity of saying these phantom men were wearing long sweaters and pants in the middle of July.
