How is he supposed to leave by their command if he didn't have his keys??!!
The ninjas left the car running. Or he hot-wired it. Or pushed it home. He can’t remember…

I’m hoping that is an indication they plan on demolishing on cross.
I the prosecution isn't objecting to the leading questions so that the defense gets their entire story out. Then destroy it. Don't let there be any other hidden surprises.

I find it odd he didn't have keys so he got out and he wasn't looking for his keys oh no he was looking in the trunk.

I also find it odd he didn't look in the rearview mirror to see what the guy was doing when he left the car.

I also find it odd that the one man got out and didn't take the keys then. Did he take the gun and knife with him. Did the guy in the car have the gun? Why didn't he drive off then with just one guy? The guy was talking to himself in the backseat.

"At some point you told them you blacked out, was that your idea?" "No, they said it first." @KCCINews #BahenaRiveraTrial

Frese asks why he agreed to take investigators to #MollieTibbetts. "For one, I was already very tired and I wanted to stop. And most importantly they told me to put myself in the family's position and to think about if she was my daughter, what would I have done."

"Did they seem to have some idea already of where she was?" Frese asks. "I can't be sure about that."

“Did she have her shorts on?”
“Yes. One of her shoes was missing.”
“What did you do next?”
He should have answered...”I found her shoe and put her shoe back on”

Didn’t we see a photo of Mollie’s shoes on her feet in the cornfield. Liar liar pants on fire.
One shoe on....one shoe off

Hmmm, that seems like an odd place to wrap up their questioning.

That is why the state is not objecting so they can hit him with all the questions to come. They wait paitently for this.

So he's basically saying some other random person found her dead body and took off her shorts and underwear? Oh OK.....

  • #190
So he kept this to himself for all this time to protect his daughter and ex-girlfriend. But today, he decided that that didn’t matter. So now I guess the Ninjas will be hunting them down.

Didn't he say he drove off afterwards? Why wouldn't they have kept his keys and phone so he couldn't call police or leave the scene of the crime? He would be more likely to be seen by a witness driving by.

so basically...the blackout is gone

because his aunt and baby momma testified that he does not black out...

this just got pulled out of his b*tt as the trial went on

The masked people killed her. Meaning Dalton and his brother did it.

omg Mollie was SO HEAVY...and he is so TINY

  • #197
Are they going for some kind of hail Mary? This is not good for him no matter what they say.

Sounds like desperation on the defense's part. Sounds like nothing left to lose.

CBR says he remained in the car until officers asked him to get out, then went back into the cornfield, saying he took them to the edge of the corn, some distance off the road.

"When you were standing on the edge of the corn, you pointed them in the direction of Mollie Tibbetts?" Yes -- officers found her minutes after he did. Says he was taken back to the car.

Bahena Rivera says he first stayed in the car as investigators looked for the body where he told them it was. Officers later got him out of the car - he was at the edge of the corn. He then told/pointed officers toward Mollie's location. Officers found her minutes later. @KCRG

Not that it matters, but did he say how did the ninjas got home from the corn field?

I hope the State asks him this!
