Even though the question on why the two men would need his help to kidnap Mollie was objected to and sustained, the jury still heard the question and that will remain with them. It makes no sense whatsoever. If they wanted to kill Mollie, why get a third person involved? And then let that third person go? Its just a witness.

Half the time he isn't waiting for the translation before answering. That wont be lost on the jury.

Not sure why people keep stating this. I can understand a lot of Spanish or have a solid understanding of what someone is saying or asking in Spanish but yet cannot speak much Spanish myself. Think that's pretty common.

I think it's likely he knows what they are asking but wouldn't be able to articulate his answers back in English.



but yeah this story is ummmm interesting, to say the least.
