Is it typical to go down the jury one by one like that and ask each juror after the verdict or does that have to be requested?

I was on one jury for a criminal trial and we did not do that.

There was an article, though, that said if he's convicted he will be on the sex offender registry.

Maybe if he ever gets out, which will NOT happen with LWOP. Apparently, CBR will die in prison!

PSI to be prepared, no bond pending sentencing. Cristhian Bahena Rivera will be sentenced at 9:30 a.m. July 15 in Montezuma, county seat of Poweshiek County. The mandatory sentence for 1st-degree murder is life without parole.
