IA - Police remove 88 children from Bible study camp during human trafficking investigation - Louisa County, June 2025

Assuming that the camp's response is true (which is a big assumption), why would you be buying a camper $400 shoes? If a camper lost their shoes, you'd go to Walmart and get inexpensive ones to last until they got home. $400 says grooming to me. MOO
agree, that $400 shoe thing didn't serve to allay my concern about this case, only served to be a big waving red flag to me, if anything.

A local news station put out an update to basically say that there's nothing further to report so far on this case, because another crime took precedence for this rural police department.

Wow really? That doesn’t inspire confidence at all! Only one crime at a time please, we won’t be able to help you - we’re too busy 😳

And of course, the children are who get pushed to the back. The most vulnerable victims. It infuriates me that the justice system does not prioritize protecting children.
