10/29/18 Update Day 1: After motion for change of venue argued again, jury selection has started. Judge will continue jury selection and rule on change of venue later. The jury was just sworn in. Opening statements tomorrow at 9am CT.
10/30/18 Update Day 2: Opening statements. State witnesses: 911 dispatcher for Chickasaw Co. State plays recording of 911 call Koehn made at 12:55 p.m. on Aug. 30, 2017. First responder from Chickasaw Co Rescue Squad/nurse, Toni Friedrich. Tina Shatek, postal carrier and former first responder who helped Toni Friedrich find the address. Jason Rosol, sheriff's deputy with Chickasaw Co. Chickasaw Co medical examiner/paramedic Jeremy McGrath. Sheriff Martin Hemann, going through bodycam of his interview with Koehn at the scene. Chief deputy Reed Palo. Palo said decision was made to do emergency removal on 2-year-old daughter, placed in foster care at the time. Jennifer Schreiber babysat children.
