Circumstances of DisappearanceSteven was a passenger in a boat which capsized in the Missouri River. The boat is believed to have capsized in the area of the Goosehaven loop edition. Searches of the area on boat, land and air were completed however were unsuccessful in locating Steven.

The boat incident happened late in the evening. Authorities say alcohol may have been involved. So sad. Search on the Missouri River for missing Iowa man

Body of Council Bluffs man, a missing boater, is found along Missouri River

Just before 9 pm, LE responded to a report of a body in the river.
The body was found along the east side of the river, east of the Beaver Lake area, caught in an area with fallen trees.

The man was identified as Steven Delayne Sears, 28.
