A woman's body was found in a “shallow ravine” near a townhome complex. She was face-down in the water at 8610 E. P. True Parkway. Police say the body was found between a group of townhomes and homes and the ravine divided the area.

The woman was found by a neighbor in about 2-3 inches of water. Police know her identity, but are not yet releasing it yet.

There were no obvious signs of trauma.

The woman was found in an area about a mile west of Jordan Creek Town Center.

Looking at the picture, it really looks like a suspicious death. You'd have to be really drunk to not be able to get out of that shallow ditch.

Or maybe whacked her head on the concrete? I dunno.

Police said Friday afternoon that she had been identified as Lisa Marie Hulsing, 48, of West Des Moines. She lives in the neighborhood where she was found dead.

"The investigation and preliminary autopsy results do not indicate foul play," police said.

Police are calling the death suspicious right now because it's "not normal finding someone deceased laying in a drainage ditch
