Ian Dennis Foster

Lost/Injured Missing from Florence, Oregon since June 28, 2005

Age: 15 -- Height: 4'0" -- Weight: 100 lbs -- Hair Color: Brown -- Eye Color: Hazel


Ian was last seen offshore north of the Siuslaw River Jetty near Driftwood Shores Resort in Florence, Oregon at approximately 1:30 pm on June 28, 2005. He was playing in the water with two friends when he developed a cramp in his leg and was swept out to sea. The Coast Guard arrived within 10 minutes of the 911 call. Searchers saw Ian in the water twice but were unable to reach him. He is presumed drowned.
