Idaho murders suspect Bryan Kohberger waives extradition
Kohberger, 28, denies the murders and is 'eager' to be sent back to Idaho to be 'exonerated', his attorney told ABC News this morning ahead of the hearing.

There will not be a live feed to the hearing, but a select number of photographers are allowed inside along with journalists.
Much of the case remains a mystery due to the fact that he was arrested in a different state than where the crime took place.
Prosecutors are yet to provide a motive for Kohberger, and it remains unclear if he knew any of the victims.

Lawyer: Bryan Kohberger Initially Agreed To Talk to Police

LaBar told Law&Crime’s Angenette Levy that Kohberger spoke with law enforcement for five to 15 minutes at the Pennsylvania State Police barracks following his arrest early last Friday morning.
Initially, Kohberger waived his Miranda rights but then requested an attorney. LaBar said Kohberger told him that police asked his client if he understood what was going on, and he responded by saying something to the effect of “yes, certainly I’m aware of what’s going on. I’m 10 miles away from this.” Then, LaBar said, Kohberger invoked his right to counsel and asked for an attorney.
Moscow Police said they seized a 2015 white Hyundai Elantra. LaBar confirmed Kohberger drove that vehicle. Police had initially asked last month for any information about a 2011-2013 white Hyundai Elantra and said they had registrations for 22,000 vehicles that matched that description. Police executed search warrants at Kohberger’s apartment in Pullman and seized several items and also searched his parents’ home in Pennsylvania.

Idaho murder suspect Bryan Kohberger seen for the first time in Pennsylvania since his arrest Friday for the grisly deaths of four University of Idaho students.

STROUDSBURG, Pa – Idaho murder suspect Bryan Kohberger was spotted Tuesday for the first time since his arrest stepping out of a prisoner transport van at the courthouse in advance of his highly anticipated extradition hearing.
Kohberger, 28, wore a red jail-issue jumpsuit and had his hands shackled in front of him, as two law enforcement officials escorted him to the Monroe County Courthouse at about 10:45 a.m.
He remained stone faced as reporters pelted him with questions that included, "Why did you do it?" and "Are you going to Idaho?"

A former student of accused Idaho killer Bryan Kohberger said the teaching assistant seemed “preoccupied” and started grading leniently following the murders of the four University of Idaho students.
“Definitely around then, he started grading everybody just 100s. Pretty much if you turned something in, you were getting high marks,” Washington State University student Hayden Stinchfield told CNN’s Erin Burnett Monday night.
“He stopped leaving notes. He seemed preoccupied,” the student added.

Bryan Kohberger was stopped by Indiana cops back in mid-December in that white Hyundai Elantra, but they let him go -- and we have video of the encounter.
