Boise missing persons case marks 20 years

Ahren Barnard vanished on December 4, 2004. With many theories behind his disappearance, his mother still has hope he will be found.

One local podcast, Into Darkness NW, and the host Randy, have been following Barnard’s case for years.

"I really think that the Aaron Bernard case is one of the most complex that I have knowledge of," Randy told KTVB Wednesday. "So many different potential suspects, so many potential theories, and motivations behind it."

Randy said the mystery has only grown bigger throughout the years.

BPD posted on social media today stating in part, “Over the years, detectives have gathered binders full of evidence and a list of persons of interest in the case. Investigators know that someone has information that can bring this case to a close, and Ahren's family deserves closure.
