BOISE - Boise Police are looking for a suspect who they say fired shots into a crowded party in West Boise, leaving a teen girl dead. The shooting happened shortly after Midnight at the Whispering Pines Apartment Complex on Ustick.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- Boise police say they have a "person of interest" in the fatal shooting of a 14-year-old girl at a West Boise party late Saturday.

April Buenrostro of Boise died after she was shot twice in the head and chest after shots were fired at several party goers at an apartment complex.

Kenneth Elcock... was convicted of second degree murder, three counts of aggravated battery, and one count of aggravated assault. He was sentenced to life in prison, but will be eligible for parole in 40 years.
