Thank you Raymondo. I still don't see a direct quote from him using the word "Suspect" I see it in the title of article, but he uses the words "top persons of interest" I still think the media are playing with words. They have been POI for awhile. I do agree that they have been "less than truthful" but that could be attributed to many different things up to and including murder for sure, but it could also be that they did drugs during the timeframe that the child disappears. I'm not trying to argue with you, your posts are always good and informative, I'm just not seeing this angle yet. Thank you for finding the articles for me. [emoji4]

I suppose that "previously withheld" information could mean previously withheld by the FBI? Bowerman did say last year that the fbi had said there was some evidence they could not analyse, and he didn't know why that was. May they've finally analysed it and sent their findings over to the sheriff's department. :dunno:

Wasn't it stated the new evidence was from someone who'd been scared to come forward due to the FB circus? Or am I confusing two different things?

Lemhi County Sheriff Lynn Bowerman told Dateline it's because of DeOrr's parents' inconsistent stories that they are being named suspects at this time.

I think that's what Klein said, but LE haven't confirmed it.

Klein said that.

That was Klein's evidence. I don't believe it is known or has been stated if Klein's new witness and "previously withheld information" refer to the same thing.

And LE aren't saying: "Penner would not elaborate on where the new leads came from and would not say if they were in relation to a statement issued Saturday morning from Kunz family private investigator Philip Klein." http://www.eastidahonews.com/2016/01/lemhi-county-sheriff-deputy-we-have-new-leads-in-deorr-case/

Just been listening to Klein on Kid590 and some things are clearer for me. No link yet so will wait to elaborate. The axillary issue for one is now clear to me.

Per Vilt:

I offered a $20,000 reward, and they did not want me offering the reward. They said that the Sheriff didn’t want it. They said the Sheriff didn’t want to go public, and the Sheriff never mentioned that to me and so… I started finding little…little things that they were inconsistent.

Perhaps there is some truth in this statement, and the Sheriff did discourage them from offering a large reward. I've always felt that was a possibility because it's not an uncommon stance among LE agencies. We know that since late July, SB was convinced there was no abduction. And if, as some have suggested, he suspected the parents early on -- at least by August -- he might have had concern about wasting resources, and leading the investigation off track. Just a thought.

Be prepared to meet resistance from law enforcement. Some law enforcement agencies disapprove of reward offers because they can result in a 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 of false leads. Keep law enforcement informed of any decision you make regarding a reward, and if you sense concern or resistance, point out that all it takes is one solid lead to recover your child. Also, the desire for reward money could motivate an abductor to keep a child alive.

Good question to be asked tonight. Did SB discourage national attention and the 20K reward?

Shoot, I did't hear the whole interview (fast notes):

- There is physical evidence of what happened
- They are still waiting on results of some evidence
- 2 pieces of evidence was sent to the east coast yesterday
- Agrees with LE about the parents
- Auxiliary is referring to IR & g'p
- Whole team in Idaho Falls right now

http://fox2now.com/2016/01/25/parents-named-as-suspects-in-missing-child-case/

Sheriff Lynn Bowerman tells EastIdahoNews.com that Kunz and Mitchell have changed their story “numerous times” about what happened during a family camping trip on July 10.

Bowerman says the parents have told investigators conflicting stories “since the beginning.”

“Their timeline keeps changing, where they were at keeps changing, and movements and statements about DeOrr Jr. keep changing,”

“Their statements don’t match, and it’s frustrating because we have absolutely no idea where DeOrr is,” Bowerman says. “There have been so many inconsistencies that it’s hard to tell the truth from everything they’ve said.”

“I don’t think that arrests are imminent, but we’re leaving all options open,” Bowerman says. “We don’t want charge them too early should we find DeOrr and things change.”
