Or maybe IR drove.
Bowerman said Walton drove.
Or maybe IR drove.
Possible. Though neither oxygen need nor dementia would necessarily mean GPP wasn't able to drive well. Especially if he was a good driver used to driving before he became ill.
Please direct me, if you can, to the Vilt interview you're speaking of. I just re-listened to his most recent interview but that's not covered in it. I haven't read the interview you're referring to. Thanks so much.
The sheriff spoke about "early afternoon or early evening" on Thursday - why doesn't he know better?
DK mentioned minnows in the first interview. He said he saw them.
It was in the radio interview with Bessie and Tricia the other night when the Sheriff said GGP drove the truck and camping rig with IR riding along with him. Made me go, "Yikes!" as up to then I'd pictured GGP in my mind as somewhat feeble and fragile.I am pretty sure that the sheriff said someplace that IR does not drive. (sorry do not have the link handy). GGP very well could be driving even though he really shouldn't. Unfortunately it happens a lot. When people age to the point they shouldn't be driving any more, there are no systems in place to test their driving skills. Have you ever tried to drive in Florida? So I don't find it odd at all that GGP is still driving around, even if he shouldn't be.
He drove the big Suburban with camper trailer rig all the way to Leadore and up that difficult road.

He did? I don't remember seeing that. Do you have a link?
This is how I understand it. They went with Reinwand to see the fish. While there, they saw some minnows. Vernal thought little DeOrr would love seeing the minnows, so they went back to get him. IMO
OR . . . . This? OR . . . . That? OR how about . . . . THIS!? Or, how about he wandered off and got lost?

No! Vernal has not been "proven" to be untruthful.
ILOKAL here it is from Vilt.
Their stories didn’t jive. One was the timeline, and there was some overemphasis of Jessica, uh…stating that she knew the boy was in the campground because she kept looking back – “I kept looking back…I kept looking back…” and it seemed like this was like an overkill. Why would she keep saying this over and over and over again? She wanted to establish that the boy was in the campground. This was after they came back from town and um they saw some fish that Isaac and Bob, the grandfather, caught and so Deorr says, “Well show me where those fish are. Where’d you catch those fish?” And so they went off with Jessica, Deorr and Isaac went off to the creek where they caught fish supposedly, and Jessica kept saying, “I kept looking back to make sure Little Man was there. I kept looking back…kept looking back...”

Then, really...he wasn't comparing apples with apples.
17 min. vs. 4 hours
17 (ish) minutes was how long they claimed to be exploring at the creek. (Time left with GGP till time they returned to campsite). Sounds like he's talking about a whole different time scope.
I actually get what you are saying and your logic makes some sense. However, we don't know if there were any minnows. The sheriff said they went with IR to go fishing and Vilt said: "This was after they came back from town and um they saw some fish that Isaac and Bob, the grandfather, caught and so Deorr says, “Well show me where those fish are. Oh but he has: "Lemhi County Sheriff Lynn Bowerman says Jessica Mitchell and DeOrr Kunz Sr. have been "less than truthful." From: http://www.cbsnews.com/news/sheriff...in-disappearance-of-idaho-toddler-deorr-kunz/
And before you split hairs, "less than truthful" means "not telling the truth" and is just a nicer way to say "untruthful"
