Less-than-truthfuls with their nether-region apparel in flames. :burn:

I'm still on page 50, but had to jump in to say something.

In the interview with the parents, the mom is asked about the blanket she is holding and Vernal says - it's an exact replica of the one Deorr had - or something like that. Does that ring a bell to anyone? We did talk about it, but only briefly IIRC.

Hmmm....now I'm wondering if the boy was hidden/buried with his real blanket and a duplicate blanket was purchased as part of a ruse? If you're trying to pretend the boy was on the camping trip, people who knew him would expect to see his favorite blanket, and it could be a prop to use after he goes missing. And, a mom burying her child might want to give him the comfort of his blanket. (Like Bella.)

If something happened in their home, the road trip to the campground would provide locations to place him.

Like many of you, I'm doubting whether little Doerr ever was at the campsite.

Okay, back to page 50 for me.

It didn't seem as though that's what Klein meant. Wasn't that a two-part question? I took his answer to mean it didn't happen in the manner stated. So Klein reads the questions, give the answers, and they are then posted? Or is it in real time?

He said he couldn't answer the question because it was about a myth. Meaning going for a walk and asking GGP to watch DeOrr never happened, so how could he say how long they were gone?

Perhaps the part that is a myth is asking GGPA to watch DeOrr.

I remember he said something about her carrying it everywhere and it was an "exact replica" of a baby blanket, but I could never figure out what he meant. I could be wrong but I thought she was clutching DeOrr's blanket, the one he never went anywhere without.

Another thing that strikes me odd:

WHY were polygraphs administered to IR and GGP when they *knew* they would come back inconclusive. Further, they gave them additional poly's!

The questions were all posted first, then he went through and added his answers in the comments.
.

So he had time to contemplate his answers?

No, that - asking GGP or just leaving - was the part he couldn't answer because the set up of them going for a walk wasn't true. The question included did they or did they not ask GGP. If they didn't go for the walk there is no possible way to answer the question. Some for how long were they gone.

I think he said "replica" thinking that meant the "genuine article"..

I do not think this word means what he thinks it means.....

Yes, and many questions he declined to answer, some because they were related to the prosecutorial phase of the investigation and some because they dealt with rumors or were, as he called them, part of a sideshow and his goal is to find baby DeOrr.

Yea that exact replica thing has always seemed odd to me. So now it makes me think maybe in fact it was an exact replica, otherwise why wouldnt you just say it was Deorr's baby blanket?

If I remember correctly (we talked about this soooo long ago) I think people kind of decided he was trying to emphasize that it was Deorr's security blanket. It was like the epitome of security to him, but he just worded it oddly. This was still when they were implying he must have been abducted because he never would have left his "security" blanket behind.

If there are witnesses that start the timeline at 8am, perhaps they were fisherman. Fishermen are earlier risers and might have witnessed something....but what?

Because polygraphs aren't very accurate anyway, but LE and the FBI use them to intimidate people and try and make them tell the truth or confess. JMO.

Fishermen always talk to each other so if GGP and IR were fishing at the same time they would have been seen and probably talked to. I don't know how that might affect the overall timeline, unless GGP and IR said 8am was the last time they saw JM and DK.

I'm honestly starting to wonder if those people on here that said all along that they wondered if Deorr Jr was ever at the campground just might be right.

There was a lot of innuendo and insinuation going on, but there's no more evidence and very little real information than we had yesterday.

He is sure way more confident and forthcoming than SB. I'm not criticising SB, btw. SB said recently when asked if he knew where Deorr was and he said "I have no clue." Yet Klein does a Q and A and is makes you feel like he knows pretty much everything. I wonder if Klein ever asks SB if something can be released. Because he could potentially mockup the investigation. On the other hand, they're doing what they were hired to do so I don't know if LE can place restrictions or filter what the PI announces.
