This has been on my mind all day and I am starting to think it just may actually be family. And there is one person that stands out in my mind.

Who? I had an idea about VDK mom, but am not sure now. Do we know if VDK parents are still married to each other?

But has Klein mentioned other cases that he needs help on since it seems that he has this case wrapped up while only waiting for the body.

Do we know that for a fact? It sounds like a rumor to me, a least that's what I always considered it to be.

Even so, can you imagine these two coming up with such an elaborate plan that involved them actually TRAVELING down to Leadore just so that they could be spotted by someone for them to use in a later cover up story? Nahhh....I don't think so!

We were told by Trina and JM that Bob wanted to go and JM went along to babysit him. I'm sure it's somewhere on MSM during a brief interview with Trina but I don't have a link at this time.

Honestly, I can imagine JM and DK doing all kinds of things that I wouldn't do.

The longer this goes on and the fact that they have continued to lie and change their stories for nearly eight months, leads me to believe it was not a simple accident. I also don't believe for a minute that the reason they can't keep their stories straight is because they were stoned out of their gourds and have no idea what happened to their son - surely they would have fessed up by now if that was the case (being negligent is a far cry from being accused of murder).

I think it's possible DeOrr was deceased before they left on the trip. I'd really like to know if anyone saw him at the Silver Dollar on Thursday night. I also wonder if the highway webcams caught an image of them on their way to Leadore.

It sounds like DeOrr was not seen by anyone during either of the TWO store purchases. I wish we knew when the second purchase was made.

I wonder if JM abuses any sort of prescription drugs. I thought maybe she used meth but she has very nice teeth. She works (well, worked) in health care, so it's possible she might have access to something? She just seems like she is on something to me. Total speculation on my part - not trying to start rumors, I'm just wondering if that could be a possibility.

I agree that JM and DK seem very distanced from each other, particularly during their interview. Even at the vigil where she is "crying" on his shoulder, his arm is not around her or anything.

I would love to see the documentary that they filmed. I wonder what version(s) of events it contains. It would be very interesting.

Yes I wondered about that too. To be honest I don't think they have any money for an attorney. There must be something in the works because attorneys don't work for free. A book deal, movie deal, lawsuit?

I donno about Tim Miller. He usually posts a lot on his website and I'm not seeing his future in Idaho.

When mentioned he was coming to search my very first thought, strange as it may be, was Casey Anthony.

Tim searched for days...in the wrong place.

History could repeat its self in this missing DeOrr.

Ok I'm going to be really unpopular here on this thread. I have read along from day one. I cannot believe that so many sleuthers are taking everything Klein says as Bible. He seems to me to be a giant BS artist. I cannot wait for "Phase 4" Phase 5, 6, 7...
LE is not backing up his statements at this time. I find it extremely frustrating how vague he is. Like one of those people that claim to talk to the dead. Says just enough to hook you, but also not enough to be caught out as smoke.
1. He hasn't found DeOrr. 2. He doesn't know if it was accidental or homicide. 2. He hasn't quoted JM, just accuses her. On many other threads WSers would be ripping him a new blow hole. If he is wrong, think of all of the devastation his accusations will have caused.
I respect everyone's opinion. I have been wrong before, but right now, until LE starts making some of these claims, I will have to give his parents some slack until this baby is found. Also, after all of this "Salem witch hunt" that Klein has fostered, he better hope this baby is found wrapped in something or buried. If it does turn out that he wandered off...

I, for one, don't take anything he says as gospel. I wouldn't even take what LE says as gospel at this point. It's all very confusing to me. But even so, I do enjoy discussing the things Klein has said even if I'm not sure what to believe about it all.

I'm still stuck on the cerebral fluid / possible blood that the cadaver dogs hit on. That probably wouldn't be present with an accidental drowning, right? I hate all the thoughts that are going on in my head right now. That poor baby!

The presence of CFS would indicate a breach of the closed system which contains the spinal cord, CSF, brain, etc. A head, face or neck injury could cause it, possibly a crush type injury (being ran over) which creates a breach due to a sudden increase in pressure. Or could be present with severe brain swelling, which can occur after a drowning.

Good point. Any photos uploaded to FB would have served to verify the /a timeline. I thought I saw one pic of Deorr that may have been taken while riding in the truck carseat but beyond that I've not seen any camping photos. Aren't those often snapped and uploaded to FB immediately? Did anyone see any new uploads during the camp trip? If not the that would lend to something happening the evening of arrival imo.

I have wondered about that too. My son and his wife just took their first child camping last summer. They posted a dozen pics of her sitting on a blanket in the camp site, looking at the river. And one of her happily playing in the dirt by the campfire, and one of her eating 'smores. It seems odd they do not have any pix of DeOrr eating eggs that morning by the campfire or eating fries in town?

I'm not following any of Klein's other cases so I don't know if he is doing interviews about them.

He has been fired, and two individuals have already approached him about representation. He didn't go begging.

JM knows where to search. Klein said it's either an accident or murder.

He doesn't need to publicize any of his cases but when asked to do interviews, he does.

In his interview last night with KIFI Local News 8, the reporter asked if was normal for him to do so many interviews on a case. He said, yes, it was. He said he likes to get out there before the public and give as much information as he can so as to dispel any rumors, innuendo that may come up on social media. You gotta respect the guy for that.

Personally, I think he is sort of a cheeseball (LOL!), but, hey, I'm a total introvert and chatty people like him (and Vernal) drive me nuts. But, guess what? He's EXACTLY the type of person you want searching for your loved one, because he'll use everything in his power to find them!

Imo. Klein deals with missing kids. But he is not advocating for any other kid expect for Deorr.

Now he acts like he knows everything about this case while passing the information to the fbi.

So what else does he need to do that the fbi can't.

I remember AB giving an interview to 590 KID I think and he was asked why Vernal had a lawyer but Jessica hadn't and his answer (paraphrasing) was in cases like this you get separate lawyers.

So it is odd. Maybe money's tight and they thought LE believed it Vernal was the one they were gunning for but now that seems to have switched and forced Jessica's hand?

Hmmmm...maybe. But he certainly doesn't have the means to pay (if payment is still required - it may not be) for Klein. Besides, he and his/Jessica's children have to live in the area and I highly doubt he would want to endure the wrath of the Mitchell / Kunz families that would come from retaining Klein's services.

That's exactly why I have been thinking so hard about it ConcernedCitizenID.. This particular family member (or 2 for all I know) would not want continued scrutiny of their family. What better way to get out from underneath it than the truth? Maybe they too, cannot live w/ not knowing what happened to Little D and also wants what is best for the accused. Living a lie isn't best for anybody, especially a lie of this magnitude. If I am allowed to take a guess, I would say TBC. Idk why, but that is just what keeps coming to mind. I can see her just wanting JM to take responsibility as maybe this lie isn't who she raised JM to be. That has to be a heavy burden as a mother. And as a grandmother, too! I hope this makes sense? But the more I type, there is one other person that comes to mind too. Grrr

Pretty sure they are divorced. I don't think it would be VDK's mom from what I've seen... If it's a family member, maybe JM's mom or JM's ex-husband? MOO

I don't find that, in and of itself, odd. My brother has gone on many camping trips with his kids. I NEVER see photos from them. That's just not something they do.

And really, even a lack of photos from someone who normally takes them isn't a huge red flag to me either. I take a ton of pictures usually. But then some days, I just don't feel like it. Especially if we're out doing something fun. I'll MAYBE snap some to upload later. But sometimes not at all.

Not trying to defend these parents or anything. Just saying that everyone is different. So to me, the photos thing isn't relevant.

Exactly. One reason they might not have any photos is because DeOrr never ate breakfast that morning, never ate the french fries they bought, and never got a chance to play around at the campsite. :-(
