Where in my statement are you coming up with that? Are you trying to be constructive and contribute to the ideas discussed here?

You said its cold and snowy so it's impossible to search in those conditions.

Lol. Wasn't Deorr missing since warm times while LE did a 60 mile radius search?

So where is Klein suggesting that we search now. And why not head there weather snowy or cold or not.

Is he waiting for a predator to grab the remains. Or is he waiting for the okay from the fbi. Or is he waiting for a 80degree day. Jmo.

Hmmmm...maybe. But he certainly doesn't have the means to pay (if payment is still required - it may not be) for Klein. Besides, he and his/Jessica's children have to live in the area and I highly doubt he would want to endure the wrath of the Mitchell / Kunz families that would come from retaining Klein's services.

Could a person signing a contract be an "Anonymous signer" to the public?

Lol. And that's why I live in California. Lol.

But are you stating that no child should be looked for on a cold snowy day.

Shouldn't a search team in cold and snowy states be prepared for searching in these conditions. Jmo.

The search parties in these areas are not off the hook.

Unless you advocate killers to kill in the winter time since there will never be any searches.

When the ground is frozen, you cannot dig to find a body. That's why they have to wait for the spring thaw.

Snipped for space- I feel like this is something a CNA would know, but I'm not 100% certain. I knew about because my mom taught me some basic cleaning tips and tricks growing up. My husband grew up with that knowledge because of hunting and taxidermy work.
She might, I know it because I am a nurse & my day just isn't complete until someone has leaked something on me.

One more thing..........

Klein's office is in a little strip mall and I have a feeling his staff consists of the women that was on the sofa with him. 3 people, IMO.

LE does not care for PI's or most of the media except for a few. I was married to a man who retired from LE after 22 years and was a deputy myself for 10 years. What I have stated is how it was several years ago and may not be true today but I think it still is. Some PI's interfere with LE's investigations. If I were Klein, I would step lightly because he is throwing around words like 'evidence' and 'proffer'. A 'proffer' would be made to a prosecutor. If Klein was all that professional or educated, he would use words correctly.

All of this is JMO, so take it as you will.

Back to lurking and reading! Just know that I am here for DeOrr and hope every single day that it will be the day he is found!

I agree 100% my friend. Good post.

I know nothing about search dogs so forgive my ignorance but wouldn't a frozen snow covered body not produce a scent?

I think that everything we've been told by the parents is part of the myth. Their child was deceased and they were covering it up, starting as early as 8:00 AM. I don't believe for a second that JM started her period and/or that she needed feminine supplies. That was just an excuse to make a trip to the store as part of their cover-up (and maybe they needed other supplies, who knows...). She texted her mom because she was attempting to "show" what they doing (as a family) and why they needed to go. The trip to the store was supposed to "prove" that DeOrr was alive and with them. They made up the rumor about the store sighting as a way to get the word out to the public during their interview and convince us that DeOrr was with them at the store. That's why DK insisted it was him and DeOrr, just earlier in the day. It was me! That was us! We were at the store! The clerk saw us! Sorry, but they are lying every step of the way. JM didn't coincidentally get her period right in the middle of them covering up their son's death. I don't buy it. MOO.

I just keep thinking...if they did actually buy pads and/or tampons, since it seems unlikely that JM is lying about starting her period, for what did they need things that easily absorb blood??!

The search area was 2.5-3 mile square IIRC.

Yeah, I saw that, too. Not that it matters, but if money is not an issue why would Klein even need another client to hire him? He states they are vetting two people who have expressed interest in hiring him. He could easily have said, we aren't going anywhere (he HAS said that, actually) and payment is not a problem and a client to report to is not needed. I guess I don't know enough about how hiring a PI goes, so, there's that...

Maybe there's some advantage to having another family member be the client...More direct info to family members, other than being thrown into the general public pool? Perhaps with direct info, it could help towards getting the truth out of JM and VK? (Family pressure).

Are you kidding me. Now we know where to dig. So shouldn't we atleast put an x mark the spot in the place that we want to dig?

Are we saying that Klein knows more than the fbi?

Bottom line. If Klein knows where to search. Then the fbi should know at this point as well since Klein is supposedly working with the fbi.

Now if the fbi can't find deorr at the moment.

Then why believe Klein. Just asking?

So are you saying that firefighters should not work or try to find people in hot conditions during a summer forest fire.

Funny how you would bring a fire analogy into this. IMHO I have seen you start a couple of "fires" on this thread based on false statements for easily verifiable information. Everyone is allowed their opinions but I feel you set the discussion back with some of your statements. How can you sit at a computer and suggest all of these hot March days must have melted 4+ feet of snow on a mountain most of us have never seen? Under your assumption that the weather is great and safe for searching why is this on Klein, as you have so correctly stated he is only a PI. Why aren't LE and the FBI out there tramping around searching?

There were some comments asking does Klein do this to all of his clients? My guess is it's probably rare that he is hired by family of the guilty parties. As a PI and just a human being if he believes VDK and JM are guilty why should he pull punches? We all sit here in the comfort of our homes or offices (get back to work) and discuss cases. This guy does this for his living, you would imagine it's at least as personal for him as it is for all of us bystanders. I don't really care if the family wanted him to make his statements or not, he is correct and the police believe what he is saying also. With the way the Sheriff handled this case so carefully don't you think he would disavow Klein or tell him to be quiet if he didn't agree?

Don't be ridiculous.

What is your source for the 60 mile radius search?

Yeah....that's the first time I heard the 60 mile range. I mean, once you start even thinking about searching past toddler walking distance (2-3 miles???), you might as well expand your search to the moon. 60 mile range is a number pulled out of thin air - it's incorrect.

Maybe they just used that as an excuse for the trip? Honestly no one is going to ask the mother of a missing child to prove that she is having her period. Days later, when everyone was wise to the fact that they are lying %(U$*$*#* she could just as easily say it stopped. It's not provable one way or the other.

Is there a way to ignore certain posters?

There are a few of us locals (*waving*) on this thread who know a thing or two about Idaho weather, in case anyone wants to give us a shout out.

I'm not sure how it is now, but one of Tim's rules was that a family member had to request his services. He does work with LE, but not PI's. That was the way it was as far back as when he went to Florida to work on the Anthony case in 2008.

Family and LE both have to be in agreement for him to come and search.

ONCE AGAIN, Klein does not know where to dig. JM does!
