I think that the incident happened when JMA was over helping get the trailer ready for the trip, I believe this was the day of the trip.

Something really bugs me about not only JMA calling her mom,but the mom's response that she thinks JMA just needed her momma at that moment. Calling your mommy before emergency help just seems very odd, what was mommy going to do from so far away, and Trina's response seems weird also. I know that if I called my mommy and told her that I lost her grandson somewhere in this great wilderness, her first question would be how long till search and rescue will arrive, when she found that I called her first she would have read me the riot act, hung up and called 911 herself.

This bugs the heck out of me too. Also how quickly JA's mom got to the campsite when Deorr had supposedly been missing only an hour according to JA's 911 call. And why 3 people called 911 at the same time when he'd already been missing that long.

I still think someone forced them to call 911 when they wouldn't have otherwise. Was it Trina? Was it GGP? Was it IR?

So am I getting this right? The three phone chargers that PK referred to were purchased with the credit card found at the former residence of JM and VK? The credit card allegedly belonging to a friend? Or is that all an assumption?

he did not say they were purchased with that card

We don't know yet what was bought with friends credit card.

Ok, but would it be feasible to think that is what PK was alluding to? Thinking about it further, it makes sense to me that the phone chargers were exactly what PK was referring to when he mentioned that credit card purchases had been located and that those purchases had not been disclosed to investigators in relation to this case. If the purchases weren't relevant to the time frame of this case, IMO there would be no need to allude to them at all. I'm also wondering how PK would know that phone chargers where purchased between Idaho Falls and Leadore? I really don't think that JM, VK et al would have enlightened him about them.

They had to call 911 eventually. Why do you think they wouldn't have?

And why did they have to call 911 eventually? If they are all involved in little DeOrr's disappearance/murder, why didn't they just keep it 'in house' and not notify LE at all? Just shut up and carry on with their lives?

It's been alluded to (though never confirmed by LE) that there was dcf involvement with the family. Klein gave a no comment answer when asked in the most recent Q&A. If these rumors are true, then they would need to have some sort of explanation for his disappearance if dcf came knocking.

Again just want to point out that any involvement with dcf has not been confirmed and this is just a possible theory.

I agree mountangazer. the "no comment" answers by both IR and klein in their respective interview/post are IMO the most telling. providing no fact only theory of course but...

That would be a great list to have - all the questions to which LE and Klein (and IR) answered "no comment."

About Isaac resetting his phone.... the thought just crossed my mind that maybe Jessica and/or Vernal told him to do a factory reset, like hey dude the cops are going to take all our phones, you should erase everything if you've got stuff on there you don't want the cops to see.... knowing it would later make him look more suspicious when they started pointing fingers at him.... just a thought...

I think that may have been what they thought about doing at first. If there is in fact an open cps case on them (speculation at this point), maybe Trina told them they had to call 911 and report him missing.

The purchase of three chargers between IDF and Leadore (not in Leadore, so where exactly?) is interesting. Were they car chargers? Maybe IR didn't have one since he didn't/doesn't drive anyway. I don't know about most people, but my car charger is always plugged into the one car I usually drive. Therefore, I could imagine JMA forgetting to bring her own car charger, and maybe IR deciding he could purchase one for the trip also. Not sure about the third one, maybe for GGP who didn't have one already in his Suburban?

So does anyone think Klein would ever say "No comment" to a question that really has an innocent answer? to light a fire under the suspects? He does have more freedom to turn up the heat than LE would have.

I wonder why they didn't just buy all three at the same time though? It's possible one store didn't have what they needed (if their phones take different chargers) but it still seems a little odd to me. If it was completely innocent and there was a totally reasonable explanation, I'm not sure Klein would have even brought it up either.... Also, I haven't seen the parents or grandmothers or anyone jump in and provide an explanation (although it's possible - has anyone else seen anything?). Family and friends are usually pretty quick to "set the record straight"....

They weren't all purchased at the same time? Just somewhere on the way?

I wonder that too.... he could have just said "no" or "not to our knowledge" or something along those lines.... the "no comment" certainly arouses suspicion.... again, has the family made a statement denying there is an open cps case? They seem awfully quiet.

He said they were purchased "between Idaho Falls and Leadore" - we know one was bought at the Stage Stop so the other two must have been bought somewhere else. At least that's how I interpret it?

The Stage Stop is in Leadore, so that wouldn't really fit PK's statement of the purchase(s) occurring between IDF and Leadore. Do we know for sure that a charger was purchased at the Stage Stop? I just understood that three chargers were purchased on the way to Leadore, the day before DeOrr allegedly disappeared.

Maybe three were purchased on Thursday and then one more at the Stage Stop?
