Has to be strategy, KatieLiz. I had a rest from this case because I found it so frustrating that such a 'simple' case has gone on for so long. I really do believe the authorities have many pieces of evidence but none that point to one/any individual directly. It is really bold to be releasing these recordings like this but if this is all that can be done to ruffle feathers and get tongues wagging or someone to make a mistake.....

I think it has been repeated many times how frightened Lemhi County officers are of double jeopardy and having only one chance so won't make a move until something really solid comes up.

It is especially frustrating because I watched a documentary of a murder here in the UK recently where an embedded film crew followed the detectives and the whole case was basically wrapped up in 4 days including DNA results, phone tracking, CCTV and finding the car used etc.

I assume you mean the Sadie Hartley documentary - wouldn't it be amazing if all cases had that sort of coverage! Worth spending an hour watching it if you haven't already, thread here too and perhaps one of the craziest trials ever!

Thanks for the welcome back! I just hope some of these cases I've followed would get resolved. It can get really depressing and couldn't imagine being a detective in these cases...

What's happened to the theory that Deorr was never at the c/g in the first place?

Doesn't make sense, and I think the only reason to release this vid is in some way a strategy to show 'certain people' that they should watch their back 'cos things are being said. imo

Last weekend drove through Leadore. Felt sad and sick at heart and angry, didn't even want to keep reading or posting. There were Forest Service and LE presence in Leadore when I was there. Were they working on the Deorr case? Maybe. There are hundreds of people working so hard to find little Deorr, and yet his parents deny him. That's what makes me so angry.

The Stage Stop is tiny. There is no way you could miss seeing a toddler in there.
There were no flyers about Deorr in the Stage Stop.
We drove up a bit on the road to the campground, but didn't go to the campground. There are so many little dirt roads off of the main road, as there are throughout the valley. So many places to go to hide a little body.

I felt like we were being watched while we were in Leadore, I hope we were. I hope they have our license plate and that we are on more than one video.

That's great that you went up there, I imagine it to be a dusty little town where everyone would notice a stranger. That's what makes it hinky that nobody can positively ID Deorr as being there. Worrying about all the little dirt roads, more places to easily hide something. Thanks for going, good to have feet on the ground. Anything else of note that you missed from the longer post?

A quick search tells me the first we heard of the new beau was mid-June 2016 (just us hearing about it, not that the relationship just started then). I can't link because it was a post that was unapproved as it was not from an MSM source and therefore had to be considered rumor at the time. IIRC, it was shortly after that we became aware through an approved source so discussion was then allowed.

Yes I know we heard about them this summer when they got married.... but Klein eluded to the fact that she may have been with him for several months before when he did his Q&A on his Facebook page. So I'm just curious when she really started running around on Vernal. He may have been angry at her when he made this phone call.

Exactly. I think this is Klein's attempt to tune Jessica on Vernal. They share a lawyer and filed the lawsuit together. I think Klein is desperately trying to divide them (with good reason).

I don't know what to think. It's hard, when the players have no penchant for telling the truth.

Going out on a limb here, but finding out they may have been separated, instead of together the whole time, makes me wonder about what IR possibly knows or even was involved in. I've always thought he knows more than he's telling. Wasn't there an hour or something that he was not accounted for? Could Jess have been away from Vernal in this time frame?

Or is Deorr lying to deflect suspicion away from himself? Who knows.

Makes my head spin.

I find it interesting that Klein is continuing to post things. He must be very confident that the lawsuit holds no merit.
