It is my opinion that the "Leadore Four" met in Leadore Thursday evening, but not to camp. Something happened to baby Deorr, so Vernal and Jessica drove back to Idaho Falls, to get the camper to set up an alibi. This would explain why Jessica turned her phone off at 9:38pm. GGpa and IR stayed behind, probably with Vernal's cell phone, at the campsite. Most likely working on the whiskey IR mentioned in his last interview. After Jessica and Vernal returned to Leadore, and on to the campsite, they waited until it was light, then they traveled an unknown distance to hide baby Deorr's body. When they went back to Leadore to set up the "as a family" alibi, they needed fuel after all that traveling, which is why they had to use red dye diesel, even though it's illegal, that's how empty the tank was.

The reason red dye was purchased is explained in this video at 5 mins.

Excellent theory! If not to camp why did they go? Was baby Deoor alive when they got there? How does TBC's rendition of cleaning out the camper on Weds for this camping trip fit?

I totally agree that IR and GGP got sloshed on whisky together probably Thursday night. I think black out drunk sloshed for IR. His memories were implanted by the others. And I also agree that baby Deoor was buried no where near the campground.

IMO, JMO

I don't believe anything this woman says. Sorry, shes destroyed all her credibility, all on her own. JMO

Has that particular fact been disputed by LE or the PIs?

Can you explain why you feel this way? And thank for the info from distant relative. I assume she told LE. I still dont understand why the missing information on last known point when baby Deoor was seen alive like KatieLz states... I always thought it was part of the investigation info we are not privy to but dont know why its a secret either!

Welcome Wishes, nice to have you joining in discussion.

JMO

Last I remember hearing from Klein (or maybe Bowerman) was basically that Trina was the only person who had seen him Wednesday by they didn't really have another sighting that week (or at least one they were divulging to us). So now we know he was at a BBQ a week before his disappearance. Now to fill in that week...

I like it (and glad Leadore Four has stuck lol!) but why would they meet in Leadore if not to camp?

I like this as well.

Haven't I heard.mention of GGP and IR having "business" in Leadore on Thursday? I always thought that was strange and wondered what it meant.

None of us believe their "stories".

No, I gathered that. As I asked before, is it disputed that the fuel was purchased in the manner it was for the reason JMA gave in the video?

I don't know specifically but I think Bowerman has made it clear that they don't believe any of the stories and they dispute a lot. Just because the suspects say they did something for one reason certainly doesn't make that true. Bowerman has made that very clear.

Would it have been a reason easily verified by Sheriff B, do you believe?

Thankyou, so the diesel pump on S. Railroad St was out of action, and they got sent to Lee Creek Rd where V bought red-dye diesel.
This explains why LE, although they named the shop where supplies were bought, did not name the place where diesel was bought, because of this peripheral issue.

Great to see people discussing theories and keeping this thing alive. I definitely see how SubtleGrace's theory could be close to what happened. My only caveat is I'm not sold on Sling Blade, I mean Issac having much involvement. If his part involved being mislead or telling a small lie fine, but I don't see how he could be responsible for much else. He has been publicly declared as the most forthcoming and least involved. I just can't imagine him holding up well to multiple interviews unless he was basically telling the truth. Anyone's guess about GGP is as good as mine, he could be the ring leader or just a loyal old goat nothing would surprise me with him.

I agree except instead of "IR" telling the truth.. I think he is more so sticking to a story. I feel he may have been fed memories or told to tell a certain story and stick to it. Where as J and V have strayed from the original.narrative over time.

I don't think he was "involved" other than possibly being involved in the cover up... but I don't think he's telling the whole truth either.

For IR to be telling the "truth" it means Deorr was alive up until "disappearing" Friday, and I'm not sure I believe that.

Yes I believe that it's true about "having" to go to that fuel pump. But the question is why were they so desperate for yellow in the first place if they had only driven to Leadore and timber creek. They were in desperate enough need for diesel to resort to using te red dye fuel. So why? Because we know they already got diesel on their trip once.

Sling Blade. I feel like I should feel guilty for laughing but there it is.

As we are not aware of how much fuel was in the tank after the first purchase, it is difficult to know why a second purchase was necessary other than a near-empty tank. For my part, I always make sure I have at least a quarter tank in my car in case of overnight emergencies. Another family member lets her car run on red for several miles before refilling.
If the additional gas was purchased at around 1pm & they then returned to the campground, no long journey was undertaken as 911 was called at 2.36 from the camp.

I always go back to the fact Issac hired a lawyer, made peace with Klein and has basically been left alone from that point forward. I get the feeling he made a deal and told the whole truth or the truth as best as his (possibly) whiskey soaked mind can remember. I do find his interviews somewhat contradictory to what LE and Klein have said, but there is no crime lying to the media. He might even keep the party line during his interviews so his friend GGP doesn't know he flipped.

It is certainly possible I am wrong, I just have a hard time seeing Issac hold up under the hot lights. Unless I'm totally off and he is criminally and legally involved in a serious crime where would he find the backbone to withstand all that pressure? He looked like he could barely handle being interviewed on his own couch, imagine how he would deal with being threatened by cops and FBI agents. "You know what they do to guys like you in prison don't you Issac, just tell us what you know and we'll make sure you don't ever face charges".

I'm sorry for bringing you down to my level. When I heard him say he liked to fix bicycles my twisted mind immediately said he's like Sling Blade only he fixes bikes. Welcome to the dark place that is my mind.
