In my opinion the lady at the shop said remembered seeing a child with them, and the man at the diesel station a few buildings along the road, opposite the motel, said he thought he saw a child with them. That child can only have been DK. It wasn't a girl, and it wasn't another child's head, because they only had one child with them.

Where are you getting your information from ? And, you don't know what it was they saw if it was just a "head". How do you know who or what it was ? You don't .

The information about the man remembering that while pumping diesel he may have seen in the truck the back of the head of an infant, comes from an audio recording of the Sheriff being interviewed by the owner of websleuths (link posted above).

T and J and some relatives and friends have been searching very recently (this month). I think their strategy makes sense, to search an area further down than the campground. Does anyone else here think there is a chance they might find something?

So where have the been for 15 months? Does a search in sept/Oct 2016 for a child lost in July 2015 seem urgent??? Hell no.

OK to the best of my knowledge this photo doesn't match anything that we know as a FACT in this case. Things are convoluted enough without making stuff up or pulling pictures off the Internet that don't match anything that are known facts. And for the record, tiny babies face to the rear of a vehicle in infant seats and after a certain weight they can face to the front. Toddlers most certainly face to the front of a moving vehicle NOT sideways. If baby Deoor was traveling sideways, well that would be illegal, correct? and most certainly noticed by law enforcement! Seriously in my opinion, this is a big enough mess without adding pictures that don't match anything. The parents make enough stuff up already. JMO.

Whoa whoa whoa... did she say "I saw a child with THEM" or "I remember seeing a child (that day", because we already established it wasn't a very busy store.

The photo is of the rear folding seats in, I believe, a truck which matches the make model age and cab-size of V's truck (posted because someone was interested in where the child seat would be located, and whether the man pumping diesel would be able to see the child's head),

I was hesitant to comment on the side facing seats before since I'm Canadian. I knew you wouldn't be allowed to strap a car seat into those here, but I wasn't 100% sure if the law was the same in the US. According to Onebest it'd also illegal there. So if Deorr rode in a truck with seats like this that would mean he would be strapped into the front seat I presume?

I thought the lady a the shop could NOT remember seeing DeOrr, and the parents being surprised by that due to the fact he'd apparently been running around and "flirting" with her. One of our members went in there a few weeks ago (I forget who now, sorry) and said the store was really small. So it aint Tesco, there can't be that many customers, she would have remembered him.

And why is Klein doing a 2 hour Q&A after the presser, do you think he's off the case?! Why would he need 2 hours...?

I REALLY hope it isn't Klein withdrawing from the case (Either voluntarily or forcibly). I feel like we need him or this case will go cold.

Let's face it, not one of the people who could've / should've / would've seen DeOrr has confirmed they saw him for certain. That doesn't necessarily mean he definitely wasn't there, but they might not have been looking that way, or been busy, or just aren't very observant. When you work somewhere serving the public all the faces and occasions become a blur. I think if somebody had seen DeOrr we would know about it by now.

As much as I wish this was a sign that certain people had been arrested, the jail roster has actually been down for a long time. Every time I've checked it during the past month or two, it's always down. Not sure what the problem is, but it didn't start yesterday. :-(

This picture appears to just be him on a vehicle seat. This is not a toddler car seat. He has no seat belt On and looks like he's on his knees with his body facing sideways or backwards.

1. He isn't strapped at this moment, yes.
2. The car seat seems to have a little side wall, not suitable for an adult I think. I can't upload but on a better pic I can see this.
3. I vague remember to have seen a pic of little Deorr from the same day (turquoise blue t-shirt) when he was strapped. The pic is gone.
4. IF (only IF) ever there was such a pic then I would find it remarkable now when it's gone.

Me too - I'm hoping above hope that he isn't quitting this case but am terrified that he might be (for some as yet unknown reason).

I think that's correct - it's almost 8:30 Central Time right now. I am also very curious - hope it's something that breaks the case and not bad news.

I'm wondering that also - it's not really clear where or how it will be aired? Hopefully there will be some sort of update this morning with better information.

His f/b page says he will be issuing a "Press Release" - so a printed statement probably? Then press questions after, possibly all via f/b, maybe that's how it'll work ?

At 12 Noon Central Time Friday, Mr. Klein will be issuing a press release regarding the DeOrr Kunz, Jr. case. Post release we will block out 2 hours between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. CDT for media interviews with Mr. Klein. If you wish to block out time please call Mrs. Gear at 409-729-8798 x6.

Somethin' funny's going on and I don't like it. Gotta either be big news or he's quit/fired.
