In spite of my disdain for JM I personally can't rule out the possibility of the handing off by one of the four or kidnapping of the baby. :(.

I don't truly believe the baby was just "kidnapped"... if he ended up alive anywhere, I believe he was handed off, by one of the four in the party. Which is different than a random kidnapper if someone in the group handed him off. Just wanted to clarify, TIA.

Always believed this is a very real possibility, primarily from the parents' attitude. Wouldn't surprise me at all.

I always thought that was a very far-fetched idea, but after reading that interview with JM, all of a sudden it doesn't seem unlikely at all.

Until charges are laid I'm prepared to give the parents my sympathy for their loss.

Of course we'd all be sympathetic, but for the fact they were called out and out liars by the police and by both detectives that they hired. I'm more inclined to have faith in the professionals who have spent hundreds of hours with them cross-examining every nuance of the case, than a family who have everything to lose.

I highly doubt all those aforementioned agencies would publicly denounce these parents if there was a good chance they were entirely innocent. But, if they are, blame Bowerman, Vilt & Klein for telling the world they're guilty as sin.

I, also, believe this was a pre-planned handoff...for $. WHO D was supposedly left with (to watch) was perfect candidate for obvious reasons...wonder if they tagged him along on other outings, and yes, D might come back a "broken baby" if he remembers WHO handed him off. Finally, perfect location. No surveillance cameras.

As the search for answers nears the two-year mark, new information has surfaced.

Lemhi County Sheriff Steve Penner said he led a search of the reservoir earlier this week after the new information came in to his office. He wouldn't say what that information was.

The sheriff did reveal that he has been in recent contact with the child's father.

Well, the father is the one who left the campground to (also) call 911, correct? LE is getting closer to uncovering the truth it seems. Oh so well planned out, someone(s) thought.

This tragedy reminds me -- has similarities to Baby Chance and Lonzie Barton. Ugh.

Just thinking, IIRC, didn't IR say that he went down to the creek, and JM followed him down , then he looked up and VDK and little Deorr were "lagging" behind? And he never saw them come down? Yes, this is just one of the stories, I realize there are more than one. :gaah:

Anyway .... after that at some point, he looked up and VDK or GGP were up there looking for little Deorr saying he was missing ? So, is it possible that VDK had taken little Deorr and hidden him in the truck, then taken him away? Remember when VDK went off to supposedly get a signal to call 911 ? What if instead he hid little Deorr away in his truck, then took him away to hand him off to someone.

He and JM were apparently separating, maybe he didn't want her to have him, or maybe he didn't want to have to pay child support. Idk, I guess I'm getting desperate for answers. It's just hard to believe that he did something to little Deorr to harm him in that short time frame and then disappear his body. I guess I would rather think he sold or gave him to someone. Idk, what do you all think?

As I said, I'm desperate for answers. TIA

Hello,

snipped....
So I guess baby DeOrr was "publicly" seen on July 6, 2015 at a family barbecue.
I remember we were looking for an event to start our timelines.

I've added this to the timeline.

Ooh neesaki.

Also never to forget the other missing/disappeared people and the families grieving for them.

That was last month, actually. First article is dated July 8th and the vigil was July 10th.

And Jessie, ITA!

Oh my God, you're right. Sorry. :( Well, at least we bumped him up, poor baby.

I'm a little late to the party but have been following since the beginning. Watched Missing 411 movie twice. Has this already been discussed? CELL PHONE PICTURES. The parents took constant cell phone pictures like all 20somethings do. You can see many of those pics in the movie Missing 411. My question is: are there any cell phone pictures of the baby AT THE CAMP SITE? If not - my suspicion is he was never there. Surely LE has checked this angle? It's a no brainer. Young ppl do everything on their cell phones. If there aren't a bunch of pics of him camping, LE should have figured out when last pic was taken. That would have been a major answer in this case.

It was discussed, IIRC there were no pics of the baby at the campground. Stinks to high heaven doesn't it?

I think the story that they had to go to town to get a charger for Jessica's phone was partly to cover for why they had no pics of him at the camp site. Can't take pics if your phone is dead!

Or indeed if your son is dead....
