ID - DeOrr Kunz Jr., 2, Timber Creek Campground, 10 July 2015 #32

Today is DeOrr Kunz’s 12th birthday. Hard to believe he has been missing nine and a half years. While he may be gone, he is not forgotten. Happy Birthday, DeOrr.

What Sheriff said that?
Apologies for the late reply.

"Sheriff Lynn Bowerman told KTVB he believes the case is a homicide and that DeOrr Jr. was never at the campground."

I've not followed the case diligently, apparently I missed a quote from the sheriiff saying that. Where could I find it?

Thanks. So he posed his opinion, but not as fact. That's what I what I was curious about. Wondering if something new had turned up. Thanks for looking that up.

Bowerman isn't the Sheriff and hasn't been for years so I don't even really care what he said way back when for the most part.

Now if the current Sheriff said that, I'd take notice.
"Way back when" is actually when Deorr disappeared. Bowerman was the sheriff there from the beginning of this case until he retired fall 2016. So he was in charge for the first 16 mos. He interviewed the suspects and knows all the about the disappearance, what all the case players said, and the lies they told. What he has said about the case holds a lot of water with me.

I'm very familiar with the case so I'm aware of that. He was the Sheriff but he was not the lead investigator on the case. The current Sheriff was. So again, if he were to say that, that would get my attention and he never has.

I have no doubt Sherriff Penner is doing everything he can possibly do to solve this case, as did Bowerman. But if you are really good at hiding a body (and Deorr Jr. was so tiny, only two years old) then you may get away with disappearing a child.

Some believe that Deorr Jr. was not at the campground. I don't have an opinion on that. But I do believe that his "parents" know where he is.

May he be found and brought home to those who loved him.

Yes, January of 2016 IIRC.
Yes. Did not even realize it had been that long.
