It wasn't Isaac's idea for a camping trip. My theory, moo, parents were fighting. But not at the campground. At the old place they were living . Dad leaves pissed and baby door was backed over. Literally the parents are in shock.. this is when the plan is hatched. There is some reason dad convinces Jessica not to call police or vice versa. Yeah, Doerr was there at the campground, but he was dead. Her family used to camp there. So Jessica knows the area.. It was an accident. But what parent can bury their own, so recruit Isaac, he will do it. Maybe far fetched, I don't know. Another possibility, remember the interview with the parents?, Jessica has her arm covered the whole time. At one point, there is the parents being shown right after the interview out side, she has the same arm covered. This means something. Vernal, is cheating or something, not the man she expected to be, and she does love him or did. She was going to off herself and baby deorr, but didn't finish the job on herself for some reason. This one is pretty far fetched too. The parents know what happened though. If they don't, I will be really surprised.

I can't get the MEDIA thread to link correctly---but you can go to page ONE of any thread own Deorr, and there will be a blue link that says "MEDIA/MAPS No Discussion" click on that for early media on the case

Lemhi County sheriff: DeOrr's case 'has to be a homicide'
Dean Johnson, KTVB July 07, 2016

BOISE - It' has been nearly a year now since 3-year-old DeOrr Kunz Jr. went missing while on a camping trip with his family near Leadore, Idaho. It's a story that's garnered national attention, especially with last week's People Magazine article in which the toddler's parents outline what happened that day, and what they've done since.

Timeline updated as at January 27, 2016

David Marshburn thinks Isaac dispatched baby DeOrr in order to get with Jessica.
The suggested motive seems far-fetched to me.

(I watched Nate Eaton's latest piece but don't know all the the details of the case.)

It does seem far-fetched, however Isaac is a really really odd duck.

I just can't imagine either of the parents keeping quiet if it was Isaac.

I have to say - I totally agree! They would have "given him up" first thing! I "think" DeOrr was already dead before they left for the camping trip....

All of the investigators disagree with you. They all say he was there. This includes law enforcement and the current PIs.

This is a really good summary. The one PI (Klein) will talk about some stuff that will not make sense as it's not included but it gets you up to speed quickly.

Speaking of him, while I'm not a fan of Klein, he annoyed me less in this interview than he usually does and I'm glad he's going back up in August to search the garbage dump based on his theory. I don't care who ends up finding him, just that he is found.

In addition to @katydid23 's link to the media thread, for ease I've linked the first page of this thread. There you can find links to previous threads so you can read our previous discussions.

Welcome to Websleuths, @Cyndi22!

A recent article. Deorr has been missing for 10 years now. 😢

IIRC, in the very beginning, the parents did point some suspicious fingers towards Isaac. They had questions because he hAd gone off by himself to search, according to him, but did he? Could he have actually gone to dispose of him somehow?

Yes, katydid23, there was or is suspicion, from Jessica at least. Right after I watched Nate Eaton’s latest on YouTube, it brought up different clips for other videos and one of them was as Jessica speaking that she did suspect Isaac. I’ve tried to find it again but I’m not great with finding things on YT.
