Why was a family member arguing with the 72 year old family member? Maybe there was a reason she had to run from the house?

Right?!? I can’t imagine! I hope she didn’t leave because she was afraid to stay.

We're on the same page. The woman was 72 years old, and felt the need to take off in the middle of a storm, instead of staying inside the home warm and safe. Or going in another room to calm down. This breaks my heart that she left like that, and it doesn't appear that anyone even bothered to check on her after she left, knowing she wasn't back yet? I am not saying anyone harmed her in any way, but darn, how can you let an elderly person leave like that during a snow storm and at least not follow them to make sure they are ok?

I mean, this lady was last seen at 9 PM on Wednesday, and no one reported her missing until noon on Thursday? We're talking 15 hours this lady left in the middle of a snow storm. What could have possibly happened before she left, that this poor woman decided to take her own life by entering the cold waters of the creek?

I don’t think Suicide was confirmed. It was a guess of what could have happened to her mentioned by the news.

I understand with what upsets people about this and I'm NOT excusing the family. Their actions seem downright weird. We don't know the whole story though. While you can only understand and judge from your experiences and point of view, we need a complete picture. If it doesn't make sense, and it doesn't, yet, it didn't happen that way.
