Detectives Stubbs and Ball approach Apt 175 on Nov 26th. We hear the video playing in court. We hear Lori saying JJ is in AZ. She says he is with Melanie Gibb in AZ. Lori asks "what is all this?"
Lori says one of her brothers is trying to kill her! for her life insurance. Not the brother there with her but one of her brothers and her exhusband was trying to kill her. Lori describes JJ as a drug baby that was taken away at birth and given to her and her husband Charles and Lori claims that JJ's Grandma Kay is trying to fight her for custody of JJ. Lori brings up that Kay got the million dollars from Charles life insurance. Lori says she doesn't tell people where she is living because she afraid of Kay suing for custody of JJ. Lori says she is moving back to AZ to put JJ back in his special needs school there.

Lori claims on the body cam video that her ex-husband and her brother who lives in Kansas showed up in Idaho knocking on her apt door at one point. So she is going to move back to AZ and live with her friend Melanie and she is staying in Apt 175 with her brother Alex who protects her until she can move.

Kay getting life insurance money made Lori so, so angry. We cannot see the bodycam video but you can just hear the rage in her voice. How the way she was talking to the police didn't set off any alarms is beyond me; just so disappointing. Getting rid of JJ, who was already getting in the way of her new life with Chad, was a way to spite Kay and get back at her. Lori felt entitled to that money and someone took that way from her so she had to take away something, poor JJ, from those she felt wronged by. Disgusting...on so, so many levels.
