I couldn’t see the ankle chains, I was watching the mainland news source which I thought was not a very clear image most of the time. I did notice she had on those “slides” that the young people here in Hawaii wear, and they were way too big for her feet .... they didn’t look very nice

well i mean, it was described as *playing* so we've all kinda gone with that. but ive watched that video several times and its deeply troubling because to me what we see just does not come across as play, JJ is clearly agitated and i think we hear him swearing. granted we have no way of knowing what typical behavior looked like for him BUT i keep wondering if he was only outside because Lori or whoever was at home that day didnt want to deal with him acting up and threw him out "Go Play" you know.

we have no way of knowing how much JJ understood of what was going on around him but in my school and fam experience with ASD kids, they are super smart and aware of e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. they take in far more info about everything than ppl with neurotypical filters. the breakdown is in their inhibited ability to process so much additional awareness, hence much of the acting out and (to us) odd behaviors.

i believe JJ was undoubtedly distraught over his sister's disappearance, and he would have been manifesting differently than a neurotypical child would, and i honestly feel that video caught a tiny snippet.

Plus, let's not forget, Lori yanked all his support systems out from under him; and then when he reacted completely logically and appropriately; then dismissively told everyone her formerly adored and doted-upon son was a "drug baby".

Wow, and this case just went to a whole other level of crazy.

The attached document accuses BB of the following:

- "Proof of his pornography addiction and Homosexual affairs"
- "Failed to tell investigators that his family has covered up child molestation, drug addiction, kidnapping assaults, and even killings."
- "according to inside family information, BB's family is involved in organized crime."

I’m pretty sure they let you wear your own shoes in HI jail, as long as they don’t have anything metal or that could be turned into a weapon, so plastic or rubber makes perfect sense. They looked huge on her feet (although I thought they look like Nike type slides), Which would be easily explained if someone else bought them for her and didn’t know what size to buy (like perhaps CD)

Yes, that's an excellent point! It makes little sense, because if Lori hadn't fled with the kids and refused to produce them, there'd be zero danger of them being sent to foster care. She could have solved her own problem.

Really? Why would Idaho want to put them in foster care, when both children have relatives-JJ has grandpa and grandma, and Tylee has an older brother and an aunt. And by the way, a child has to be alive to be put in foster care.

If that's going to be her defense, unless she can time travel, giving possible consequences of her failure to comply with a court order as the reason she did not comply with the court order in the first place doesn't even make sense.

Look at the very beginning of the video. This guy came in before the general public and greeted the court staff as if he already knew them. He was carrying a backpack. In this screenshot, he is holding a large pad and a pen or pencil. My guess is that he's a courtroom artist
