Also, the subpeona demands the documents be sent to Rexburg by expedited mail. Not sure how the state of Hawaii would have access to the records he sends unless they want to chase them down in Idaho after they become public record.
Well I don't have any love for landlords that don't pay their taxes. I used to have a short term rental here in Hawaii and those tax evaders were competition and give all short term rentals a bad name. It's actually quite a big issue here. So I'm definitely not supporting the guy. I'm just saying that he may very well roll the dice with facing a contempt charge in Idaho rather than $10000 a day fine in Hawaii for all the time he has been renting. Of course teh attention is already going to be on him.

Someone has posted a DIFFERENT separate verifying source.

Added: ANOTHER separate verifying source has been posted.
For what?? I can’t keep up,

Two thoughts.

One, if Lori is given the maximum penalty on all of these felonies/misdemeanors she would be serving 30 years. :)

The second thing, that I am feeling is that there is some elaborate story that CD & LVD are planning to blame everything on the Woodcocks, and use Alex as a convenient scapegoat.

It dawned on me, that LVD could use CV"s death to garnish sympathy, and say that the Woodcocks were getting back at her(this is where the whole custody nonsense comes in), or some nonsense like that.

So far, it's the only thing that makes any sense with CD & LVD's reluctance to tell anyone if the kids are alive or dead?

Because Gray Hughes has a youtube where he discusses being contacted by a family member who says L and CD knew each other going back to 2016. @Nosurprise may be interested in the transcript around 34:44 or so.

The way I interpret this part of the video is that Lori first started attending Chad's conferences about that time. It may indeed be true that they started knowing each other then (and maybe that's the strongest likelihood, given that Lori doesn't come across as the type to wait or have any qualms). But it could also be plausible to say that "Lori knew of Chad then, but Chad may have known Lori only at some later date."

I get what you're saying but... She hired these lawyers herself, did she not? They are not appointed public defenders. How did that first meeting happen without her introducing herself? Shouldn't that have been the first thing that happened - she (or Chad) should have given the lawyers her name? I guess she only said "I'm Lori" and the lawyers didn't ask for her last name? It just seems unprofessional/over-familiar to use "Lori" in the court motions. She's not Cher or Madonna or some other celebrity where one name would be recognizable and appropriate.
:cool::p:rolleyes:

MOO.

Everytime I've used Lori lately I meant her. As far as I've seen it has been the same with you. :)

(Is there an official acronym for just being a smart ... uhh, butt?)

I'm an author as well, and there are MANY of my colleagues that I've "known" (emailed, messaged, done podcasts with, met at conferences) that wouldn't know the first thing about my family or personal life. Just because they knew each other (or even met each other) at that point doesn't necessarily mean that he knew anything about her family life. Which is why I still think, at least initially, Chad may have actually believed the story he'd told his family about her being an "empty-nester"

MELANI RESPONDS: In an explosive statement released by Melani Pawlowski’s lawyer, it states Melani Pawlowski (niece of Lori Vallow) does not know the whereabouts of her aunt’s children. Melani goes on to say her ex-husband has lied to wrongfully influence the child custody case and also blames the media for reporting “one-sided and unsubstantiated accusations.”

Melani then makes her own allegations against Brandon Boudreaux and denies being in a cult.

That's by mail. You can go to a passport office in person, as well. You do have to show your international itinerary. But you can get it renewed the same day.
I've renewed a passport overnight. There are expediters who will do this for a fee. They have to take the passport to a passport office and do it in person. How To Get an Expedited Passport in San Francisco

You can get it renewed the same day.

Did you watch the video from JJ's grandma also? Chad's FAMILY knew Lori.

There is just little problem that Melani's lawyer "forgot" to mention-if one of other potential sources (not connected to the missing children case) took a shot at Brandon-how did this source got access to Charles Vallow's Jeep that was later recovered in Rexburg Idaho?

Wow. I've got no opinion on what is or isn't reality in the letter, but I'd be willing to bet that the attorney isn't holding back. I'm wondering if he hasn't stepped over a line somewhere in some of the things he's claimed.

Wow! So much dirty laundry. In my opinion there is a real danger in relying too much on divorce filings. People say all kinds of outrageous things and, I believe, frequently lie to smear their soon-to-be-ex. So much of the things we believe about everyone here is coming from that type of source. Think about it - most of the terrible things we have heard about Lori, Charles, Melani, and now Brandon is uncorroborated by anything but rants in divorce paperwork.

I'm not defending anyone, just saying that all sources are not equal in deciding what to believe.

Hopefully LE has some type of GPS tracking to prove it.

LE has security video of the Jeep with license plate showing as far as I can tell, and that Jeep was later recovered in Rexurg Idaho per LE's documents. So involvement of the Jeep has already been proven as far as I can tell.

Chad's family knew Lori before his wife died. Time estimates vary.
Thank you!! This case is like a never ending twisted novel.

Melani also moved to Rexburg-so she would know the children weren't with Lori in October, November, etc.
